Love this, there aren't enough Dad daughter relationships in cartoons.
That's because now days people think having good father figures is considered bad or evil for kids, especially daughters.

@Asylum117 not true. There's so many father-sons bondings in both live action and cartoons. There's even a good amount of mother-son bonding

@@metaprimefandoms9763 Considering how badly male characters are treated in media, especially if they are straight or white in today's western entertainment, then our modern world unfortunately thinks this way. Even if they are fathers, they will always be written as useless or incompetent, just to make the mother/wife look better by comparison. Having strong male figures, especially father figures is becoming a rarity now days in western entertainment. Only place that has good father roles in today's entertainment is of course Japan.

I’m a misanthrope that grows numb to emotions experienced watching tv.
Oh course I’m not made of stone so I swoon and “go ahh so cute” whenever I see that family.
Even, shed a tiny tear reading the comic where they go to a convention and gosalyn is dressed like DW because he’s her hero.
It's so sweet to see adorbale moments of these two ducks, and it's nice to see an animated father-and-daughter's bond on screen. There just needs to be some scenes like this in DW's reboot while they slowly, but surely, build a strong bond.
You can see how much DW/Drake loves Gosalyn. He’s always going above, and beyond for her.

I love their relationship and I especially love how they never made it such a big deal that Drake wasn’t her biological father. They wrote the characters as if they were actually related by blood. And it works because love is all a child needs.
I was raised by an adopted father too. (Though he married my biological mother) and our relationship was just like these two. No blood between us but the way we acted, no one could tell.
