No ND fan is going to crow about beating a #24 ranked Navy. What they’ll push back on is “experts” saying ND will squeak by or even lose- ND wins handily and then “experts” will downplay and say that Navy is terrible (like they do after every ND win)
Define "handily". ND fans should hope Navy wins and spares them from being humbled and humiliated if they do make the play-offs. If you meet an SEC or Big 10 team with no passing attack and rely on your big plodding QB to run over their front 7, you'll lose by 40...or more. And that QB probably won't make it out of the 1st quarter.
That’s my thing, they lose to a decent 4-3 NIU Team WEEK 2 after beating a now 6-1 Texas A&M team lol college football! Some teams get better each game and get hot, others start hot and then lose steam.
I blame Denbrock for the N Illinois loss. 2nd & 1 from midfield with 6:00 remaining and leading 14-13 with J Love and Price in backfield? Should have bled the clock with the run, kicked a FG or scored and won the game 21/17 - 13. A bad week but should be a "W"! 8 /
It's all about the money in the end. If ND is 11-1 at the end of the season, they're in. The best scenario is ND "Fighting" to a place to host at home with an SEC team, or BIG10 team. All eyes are on South Bend, IN. Just the atmosphere of maybe having an up-and-coming, undefeated IU team; upsetting the bigger schools would be an intriguing match-up in Indiana. Mark it here that I'm an Oracle!
He's definitely improving but his inability to throw an accurate & well-timed deep ball is so frustrating at this point in the season.. the guy is literally automatic in the red zone. Soooo much potential with Leonard at the helm, it's insane. ND has failed to score a TD only TWICE this season once entering the red zone.. both times they did not score 6 was when kneeling the ball in victory formation inside the 20. Think about that stat!? 😳☘🔥
Honestly, USC has nothing to play for except ruining NDs season. Remember; in all their loses they were actually ahead in the 4th quarter. USC 31 - ND 16
😂😂 no way that condom defense that was manhandled by Maryland's OL holds this Irish offense to 16 points. No way that wack Trojan offense scores more than 24 on this #1 scoring defense in the nation. ND 48 SC 16

I still can't wrap my head around the loss to NIU. Totally incomprehensible

Is Joe a Notre Dame "expert".

Question: Why is ND in a dog fight with N Illinois late in the 4th quarter? Answer: Because they're not very good.

I don't get why these talking heads think ND would be left out. ND made a 4 team playoff with a loss. 12 teams, come on! A certainty!
If getting yelled at by Blake makes you an expert, then sure.
Joe is excellent. Well done!
Good thing there won't be that many one loss teams
This dude is no ND expert
ND has got to take care of the “business”. Come ready to ball out and shut people up!☘️☘️
Expert? Yikes…might need to rethink that one. Notre Dame has not played Central Michigan this season. An expert would know that.
JOE -- I expected Riley to be better . Riley came into a new program & missed SPRING PRACTICE ! . He does seem to be improving slowly.

Who is going to draw Mo money Indiana or Norte Dame. They'll get in with 1 loss over other teams with the same win loss record.
Can Navy handle the pressure they will get on their quarterback we will see. This defense will show up, can Navy handle the pressure?
ND better be ready this game is dangerous and if they play undisciplined football it’s gonna be a dog fight.
Al Golden will have the defense ready. He’s had two weeks to prepare.
@@krisis8736let’s hope so
