Also, I really like the SW Axleback system, has a nice deep base tone similar to that of the Borla S-Type. I feel an exhaust system should be more of a symphony of crackles and burbles and not just a heavy metal scream fest. After all, I have to live with the car

Love the Stainless Works Systems. Learned about them from the Lethalhammer's channel. Would love to put an axle back system on my 16 2SS w/NPP. Unfortunately it's a little to expensive. Never the less great stuff, don't hesitate.

This is the best stock vs custom exhaust video I've watched. Your exhaust options are superb. I like the sound of your full-system exhaust best, but I think I'd have to pass on it because of the very much louder db level at 60 mph. I think it would get tiring during extended highway cruising, even when in "tour" mode. The 7db increase in the interior sound level at 60mph is more than double the perceived volume of the stock exhaust in "tour" mode. And the 10db increase in "track" mode is nearly quadruple the volume. That's too much, I'm afraid. Still, great video and great sounds.

Hi, I'm back with a couple more questions. I know I've already spent the money on GM's performance exhaust but I'm looking to get headers and do a secondary cat delete. I might even go new catback system. What set up would you recommend? Can I keep GM performance exhaust and add headers only? If I do SSW catback system only how much more improvement is it performance wise over GM performance exhuast? I've heard "lethal camaro's" catback system and I love the sound.Would I be going in the right direction to get rid of the exhuast I already have to improve the sound and performance? I definitely want to make a change but not sure of the setup without spending too much money at one time. I'd like to add things as I go. What shoukd be done first. Okay, we've got a few options for which you can view at the link below, but our header system runs down through the midpipes to the axleback area so you'd be able to replace a significant portion while retaining the stock mufflers. Also, the most power is going to come from upgrading to headers, you may see a few HP from an axleback upgrade (with ours or any aftermarket exhaust), but the main reason for that would be to enhance the sound with a style you like. When did exhaust swap outs become all about the aural aspects?? Agree, need data on HP & Torque gains and where those gains come in the power band for each variation. Don't get me wrong, the sounds over stock for each of your set ups is really cool but the information presented here is incomplete w/o dyno results.

Is it me or does the speedometer skip numbers?
If it's accelerating quick enough, it jumps over numbers to give you an idea of where you're at rather than showing each number.

When did exhaust swap outs become all about the aural aspects?? Agree, need data on HP & Torque gains and where those gains come in the power band for each variation. Don't get me wrong, the sounds over stock for each of your set ups is really cool but the information presented here is incomplete w/o dyno results.
