Hopefully this video helps you all out in smoothly and successfully getting your SoulMask Automation stared and progressed a little once you have the required level. I found this feature cool but tricky to understand at first so I wanted to make a guide sharing everything I have learnt so far. If you have any additional tips, drop them in the comments below! i wish we coould setup crafting ques on the workstations for a maintaing amount of items and not every so and so minutes. for example if we dont have 100 ropes in any chest combined, then he should make rope until there are 100 ropes in the base.
U can repair stuff (weapons/armor/tools) without losing dura when u interrupt the repair before 100% (i.e. by transfering the stuff from workbench to own inventory). But u have to be quick ;)
Subbed!! Watching you navigate through the SoulMask world is like watching a master at work! Meanwhile, I’m still trying to figure out how to survive without Wi-Fi. 🌲📶😂
Really useful video. I have an issue with my base, we got several bonfires to extand the building territory but now our npc are randomly traveling from the main bonfire to the farm bonfire making them too far from doing their assigned tasks. My bonfires have at least 80m of range between them so I don't understand how they're even able to travel that far.
My favorite tribesman is a green. She has 3 green perks and no negative red ones. Her highest skill is bow with a max of 121, but has 3 or 4 other weapons that can reach a max over 110. I have added many gold and red tribesman that had worse stats with several negative red traits. Because of this, I try to deter as many barbarians as possible when fighting in a village and feed them all soup so they become recruitable on site. Sometimes I have 20 bodies laying around to recruite/dismiss until I find a gem. I'm just not sure there's any correlation to the red, gold, whatever color and the true worth of the tribesman.
it's all RNG, some rare green are better than most red but if you only take greens you will get worse results than if you focus on the red ones. I personally try to snipe the reds ones with a title like weaponsmith etc, almost never disapointing. The one with an interesting title I directly put it on my lama when he's still aslept so I can travel with one extra tribeman
Found out today if you have one tribesman on multiple crafting stations, you can drag order of priority on their work menu.exe: I want woodcrafts man to try to make things first before chopping up more planks etc
Love the vid, By chance what settings you recommend for solo play? I set my game to normal difficulty and have only died a few times to a few tough threats. Crop speed, Damage etc. anything helps.
I’ve had issues with tribesmen getting tools from a chest and they just sit around and complain they don’t have it. I’m wondering if the chest has to be near-ish the marker for gathering.
Mine have been okay but make sure they are set to discard 0 durability tools, I don't think they pick new ones up if they have a current tool even when its fully broken!
Is there a way to ask a tribeman to drop an item in a specific box? Without having to tell him to take item in box A and drop in box B. If yes then you should be able to create a repair automation without having to lose ressources on multiple 1 time use tools.
@@switchedup5312 trying to find a solution but i m block to give them the order to deposit their tool in a specific chest Have to look into it if there s a simple solution or a turn around to make it happen

Hopefully they will put this feature in game instead of the time interval
I think you can set people on a amount they should have

If each tribesman was an actual AI... that would be awesome.
How do you get the tribesman to work on the Pihrana Pool?
How do you set up a tribesman to move resources from one base to another?
i leave a like on all your vids because you are the most informative
Instead of a time routine I want tribesman to keep inventory at EG: 2 bone axe and craft when its at 0. A Kind of Min./max. Inventory..
great guide
There are jug containers that hold alot more water that you can put in your crafting benches.

Play around in Advanced Settings. Its a button under the level setting.

I couldn’t figure it out so I just turned off durability for the server.
