I hope so too. I think that both Mahindra and SAIC just wanted to suck out what they could get and the Daewoo years were forced on them. Hopefully they can move forward now that they aren't being "used" by their previous overlords.
I'd happily have one of these. But my current Ssangyong at pushing 19 doesn't have enough value in it to offer me a descent trade in. It's my second Ssangyong and they have both been perfectly fine and reliable. Just out of my price range these days.
We have the car in Egypt and none of the issues you say have been an issue for us, we get better screens and the cruise control works fine even in shitty egyptian driving.....the underwhelming power is agreed for the most part but then again we have a massive jump in taxes if they gave us the 2 liter
Yeah I'm interested to see what the staying power is for it in the Australian market, especially over the next few years, that's why I'm waiting to see what the reviews will be on all the Chinese imports like zeekr and alike
interesting that most car reviewers still refer to their height in imperial, same with wheel size as well. I suppose that we are so used to imperial for these two important -- metrics? that we do give it another thought.
Hey guys, I would love to see a review of the JAC T9 Haven, from $48,737, it seems like a really good priced 4x4 ute, and I'm legit looking into getting one, but would prefer to watch a trusted review first!
The design team nailed the face. It looks like Temu designed the rear. The cabin looks good but the tech seems a little behind and ergonomics not thought out as well as they should have been. Too big a vehicle for a 1.5 litre N/A 4 cylinder bordering on criminal. They could have been onto a winner if they fix a few issues as outlined.
I bought one, at the Ultimate level, just before Christmas and it has been great. Can not fault it at all. I do understandwhat you're saying about the ACC but my old Skoda Kodiaq (MY18) was worse with picking up cars on either side and not accelerating or even braking hard, so at least this only does it occassionally not all the time, same as at the front.
Ugh, I'll be in the market for something in 1-2 years. I think it'll come down to new Chinese EV or used Toyota/Honda/Mazda. So many question marks over Chinese brands. Feels like they will either take over the market or go down in literal flames. Does the Car Sauce buying service give advice on what car to pick?
G'day boys Nice review as per usual. In typical SsangYuck fashion it's just a visual mess, less so than past "decades" of SsangYucks but still a disjointed eyesore. I can't help but think of previous generations of the mighty Mitsubishi Pajero and it's cool rear door mounted spare wheel when looking at this thing, only that a spare wheel won't fit in that weird half space semicircle thingamajig area. It doesn't seem that they're seriously interested in being successful or competing with Hyundai and KMA, or KNA, or whatever they're called now. Um does Toyburu still exist or sell cars on Australia? Korean General Motors SsangYuck get a HARD PASS from me!
I have owned 3 ssangyongs , 2005 musso ugly as but took everything I throw at it. Then the 2009 rexton now done 370k dont even treat it with kit gloves. Then finally 2022 musso xlv ultimate love it very well built cars and great price. But when I was given a Torres when my musso was being serviced I was really really disapointed. Hated stop start feature , loud cabin, and that massive pillar at rear side such a blind spot ???? Why why oh why. So very unimpressed. Just my thoughts
I dare you to go to India and review the Toyota Fortuner Legender and it has sequential indicators 🎉🥳. And I’m the first viewer and the first person to like🎉.
How does this brand just keep coming back? Nobody buys them. I have not seen one on the road. I have seen more proton Prevés on the road then I have seen ssangyong. Just give up already.
mahindra couldn't do the brand justice. now that ssangyong returned home under KGM, hopefully they can turn things around.

Styling is what build Hyundai and Kia, Ssangyong needs that.
Yeah, but Hyundai has gone back in time. Most of their current fleet at the moment are shockingly ugly. I can’t believe people are buying them.
@@normanafif1268hell nah they look better than the old ones
0:27 good jab at the sliving thing
This car is quite popular model in Korea, but I never expected to see it here!

That powered tailgate harmony was spot on. Don't think we didn't notice.
nice review lads, can you mention if there are sufficient dealers around and how's the spare parts service compared to competitors?

Would love to see your guys review the full electric version

nice looking design i like it but slow as a wet week :(
The rear tailgate looks like it has a housing for half a spare space-saver tyre.

Done it again. Welded 2 different body styles together. Front styling works, rear…. only original Ssangyong designer could love.
Lots of manufacturer quantity in the market presently but not quality 😮😅
Love the looks, I hope they come out with a hybrid or full electric.
Wow. The perfect duo. Sooooo cute and informative. I wanna met u dudes in Sydney!
It looks like someone decided to take a Mitsubishi and a jeep and smashed them together to make this car 🤢
Honestly, It looks like what a new Isuzu Rodeo would look like if they kept it into production till today, mixed with some axiom vibes in the front

Id like to see a new musso hopefully something hybrid
You get looks driving this car. People looking and wondering; What the F**K is THAT.
Not sure what You guys are seeing, but I count 7 slots
Thanks for the review & the Entertainment
Another great review lads! Still not as good as a Shark 6 though....
Curious for more of the same Posh SUV BS? Or curious to the fact that it's a Ssangyong?
My old Rexton is a 2005 model and it is starting to die :(
Base rav4 or this?
Rav4 or Tuscon for me
Tucson -> RAV4 -> This
Tucson? What are you going to do 5y on and 100+ kms and the eng shits itself potentially
Hyundai diesels are a good thing. Lots of them are up to 350k plus. I'm on 255k. It was the Theta 2.4 and Direct injection 3.3 that are the issues
G'day boys

I think the electric version has led tail lights
The irony, driving the SsangYong that does 0-100 in 10.4 seconds and calling Subaru underwhelming at 9.4 seconds.
I don't know. I kind of like the smurf wheel. Blue wheels on a white vehicle would look more interesting than all the sameyness going around.
Looks like an uglier Mitsi Outlander... which is already ugly
I actually like the look of it lol
Mahindra was the owner of this brand but Mahindra sold it.
Why the hell SsangYong always for at least 20 years, has Giant steering wheels..?
Feals just terrible.
Thanks for the review
rear looks that of Bronco Sport
If you ordered the front of a sad jeep and the rear of a Hyundai.
😅😅😅
Exactly 👍
What happened to the bogan test before releasing new models?
Nothing like a reverse burnout donut to bring up an error 😂
i would like to see more chinese cars like geely

Slightly odd looking, ok value, but the risk of ownership makes it a non starter for me.
Need better engine and more torque.
Looks like a depressed cat at the front.
AI generated Kia Sportage 😂

look like 😂 Mahindra suv
But uglier cuz mahindra is nice
You guys try very hard to be funny... but you aren't. Just do the reviews as grown men. You make your self sound like kids. Not funny.
Conclusion: it’s bad.
You could buy a Subaru Outback or Forester and live happily ever after, or this, and hate your life.
That car is exceptionally mediocre
these is Mahindra suv
