    we got no rain all summer till mid september .... beet down to 60% of last year

    Do you ferment the fodder beet in the clamp when you chop it

      No, the roots are stored whole and chopped in a mixer wagon during feeding.

    what variety is that .... looks very clean ....grew blaze a few times very high yeild but the contractor will not pull it for me again .....beet too big and grows too high above the ground ...can snap off going up the rail on a l eaf harvester ( armour salmon)

      The variety is Robbos, the same as we grew last year. We've grown Blaze before and it did well.
      We started out years ago with a leaf lifter, but never got on very well with it. It was worn out before we got it!

      yes the one that pulls for me has a good bit of wear also .... maybee thats why he wants only magnum to be sown ???
