*Turn 1: Defender Behind* (00:00:31) This turn is used when the defender is directly behind the player. The key is to pause slightly after turning, then drop the shoulder to create space and move quickly. Keeping the foot in the air allows for faster adjustments. *Turn 2: Negative Touch* (00:02:07) This technique uses a backward touch to create space from a pursuing defender. It allows for a quick turn and escape while still watching the defender. *Turn 3: Quick Change of Direction* (00:03:35) This involves a quick change of direction and speed. The player receives the ball to immediately turn, often using a slight hop. Keeping the ball close after the first touch is important. *Turn 4: Inside Touch and Hop* (00:07:43) This turn starts with an inside touch to deceive the defender, followed by a hop for a quicker turn. The closer the defender, the more effective it is. *Turn 5: No-Touch Turn* (00:11:37) This is used when the defender approaches from an angle. It involves letting the ball roll to the side and continuing the play. Effectiveness depends on the ball's speed and the defender's distance. A through-the-legs variation can also be used for protection.
I've been watching football/soccer content for years and I haven't come across many channels that provide such an in depth break down that also gives you the exact situation to utilize the skill. Bravo, Subbed, Like, Shared and saved to playlist 🎉🔥🔥
hi i love your videos i really improved in dribbling because of your fundamental video and 22 dribbling drills in Christmas i will work hard to be one of the best
Thanks so much for another awesome video! I've learned so much from your instruction on timing and 1v1s. I really appreciate how you break down body mechanics behind these different techniques. Its really interesting to see how much similarity there is between 1v1 - facing opponent and now 1v1 - facing away. The same principles still apply: drop shoulder for fake, wide stance while planting for acceleration, disrupt defender timing during turn, keep foot up to allow for variability, etc. I think many of these things I've instinctively known but hearing you explain it has really helped me to visualize the motions and work to put them in practice!
Mitoma also love changing speed and it's my favorite when playing I just been name MOTM recently I make fun of defenders your video will also help a lot keep it up you helping we the young ones thank you
Depends on what you’re looking for. I used to be the Manager of Soccer Operations for TOCA in Chicago and Denver but resigned a year and half ago. The technology can be cool at first but you will need a coach who can give you good coaching points as the sessions are just 50 minutes long with set designs.
