So now that they do have the first party output that seems to be in a steady cadence and had a solid quality level, and now going more 3rd party/multiplat, things kinda just remain more of the same in the sense that their own console remains to not have a tremendous amount of exclusive games on the platform, though does benefit from the inclusion of day1 releases into their subscription service
SE…..the same publisher who called Tombraider a failure after it sold 15mil across 3 platforms. Them being 3rd party has nothing to do with them having exclusivity with some games, it has everything to do with their other investments that didn’t work out. Their dumbass NFT imitative that failed. Their canceled remake projects. Their cadence of quality games. All of that is what lead them to financial trouble and no amount of sales of Rebirth or 16 would have made up for that. Just look at the interest in the games they do have on PC. No PS5 at the moment but the PS4 generation is a very good one. I can also play PS5 exclusives and the graphics are magnificent as I was able to proudly see in Spider Man Miles Morales on my PS4Pro for example. The 2 Horizon games, (PS4/PS5) The Last Of Us 2 (which came out during the PS4, are top exclusives. I also have fun on the Switch with my daughter, Mario 3D World, Metroid Dread, Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom, Luigi's Mansion 3 are very satisfying, I like Nintendo too I was raised with it since the NES (1988) I also like XBox and their GamePass policy should be the future too. Respectfully, there really isnt much "coping" to be had. This has been a long time coming. Xbox has struggled to see large success when it comes to exclusive games and content on their console since the Xbox One.
