Jun (More Than Fishing) and I went out to a very dangerous spot to fish for rockfish, cabezon and lingcod. He has never caught a lingcod yet so that was the goal... Visit his channel to see how video. Today I used some 3 to 4 inch Keitech swimbaits and got a very nice fish. Missed another big fish, then we proceeded to cook out catch. Nothing better than a simple recipe with butter, salt and pepper to end a long day of fishing.

The region is so damn beautiful, I live in Clovis, right next to Fresno, Ca. We are 2 hours from the central Pacific coast and 8t is a stunning region! It is still, to this day, one of the least explored and most wild regions of our planet (the central Pacific coast area of the ocean). The reason being, this part of the Pacific ocean is extremely treacherous and seriously dangerous to navigate. Truly, truly beautiful!

I'd recommend bringing a collapsable ladder instead of a 2x4 for crossing gaps like that. Not only are they longer and easier to cross, but you can also use it to climb out if you fall down.
Kinda heavy carrying such a long ladder around. .i thought about a hinged board, just make sure the hinge swings the right way

a good little trick I do is bring some garlic and ginger with me and a microplane to grate them both into the butter. I use even parts of garlic to ginger and then add the salt and pepper and then the fish chunks....squeeze some lemon over it with the slices of avocado and add a bit more salt....pure wow factor
