OMG I love Johnny Greenwood's playing on this one. He feels the melody of the music just as he were high or in another dimension. This is my hero forever. I wish I had 10% of his talent. Hes just too much.
I love the mix of Thom's rhythm acoustic and Jonny's Tele arpeggio playing in this barebones version. Haha I was in Paris when this performance happened, sadly I couldn't go :(.
the guitar sound on this song reminds me of what Johnny Marr was doing with the Smiths back in the 80's.. I've been listening to rock music since 1964 when I was 6 years old & I honestly think that the band Radiohead is as good as anything I've ever heard. does Radiohead even get played on actual radio stations anywhere??
gotta say, one of thoms greatest creations.... this rises just a little above the rest of beautiful classics that came before and after...and even now with Flea and Nigel mixing in some tremendous sounds...... thom evolves like no other artist out there... Beautiful Mind ..... Beautiful understanding....music that reaches and touches the hearts and soul of so many .... from so many different lands , cultures, languages........MUSIC IS GREAT! The Great Unifier a language that every realm of thought from every creed uderstands. bringing the people of the world to one unified plane where we all can be one think as one love and enjoy as one......... music..... Radiohead.....Atoms for peace.......quick shout out for my man Neil Young one of the first to reach so many. PS ...3:30 morning rant ha lol....
Thank you Creator for me still on this plane listening to this. This song and Radiohead in general dragged me through dark times around 2007. Years of sadness and joy passed through my life with this song.
I want you to know He's not coming back Look into my eyes I'm not coming back So knives out Catch the mouse Don't look down Shove it in your mouth If you'd been a dog They would've drowned you at birth Look into my eyes It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth So knives out Cook him up Squash his head Put him in the pot I want you to know He's not coming back He's bloated and frozen Still there's no point in letting it go to waste So knives out Catch the mouse Squash his head Put him in the pot
I want you to know He's not coming back Look into my eyes I'm not coming back So knives out Catch the mouse Don't look down Shove it in your mouth If you'd been a dog They would've drowned you at birth Look into my eyes It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth So knives out Cook him up Don't look down Shove it in your mouth I want you to know I'm not coming back I'm bloated and frozen Still there's no point in letting it go to waste So knives out Catch the mouse Don't look down Shove it in your mouth
Every single one of Radiohead's songs are so vast in depth, and manage to be completely different from one another although they always have that same Radiohead feel: ==--==---->>)} Rejection, Dreamer, Martyr/Purpose, Melancholy, Balancing, Unfairness/Unjustice, Rage, Betrayal, Unconfident, Outspokenness, Peacefulness, Perfection, Romance, even Humor within their Desperation and so many other unique traits no other band collectively has so well put together. I don't think their music is depressing at all, on the contrary, it always makes me feel stronger when I dive into their world. Tom's voice always pulls me in, 'just like an angel' My point is that Muse sux complete BALLS for Ripping Off of Radiohead and turning this brilliance into Punk/Brit-pop (though I'm a Muse fan as well, their origin is clear and ought to be appreciated with modesty)
Firstly, Why So Many Unnecessary Capital Letters? Secondly, erryone knows Muse didn't find their voice 'til Origin, you can't blame a band for showing their influences on their first album.
Monolith Preacher Absolutely. I'm not blaming anybody. Both Muse & Radiohead had the same producer, which is enchanting. I wish both bands could go on tour together and go back to their origins The same thing can be said about Korn & Slipknot, or, Bad Brains & Deftones, or even Mozart & Beethoven...how artists stand on the shoulders of giants.
That was the last session in 2003 of the only show with live music on Arte, the french/german channel. We 're all looking for such a great show, where music is lived for itself and not on promotion tour with playback session, like everywhere. Music industry is drawing, not for downloading, but for lack of respect of public and lack of innovation ! Thanks to Ray Cokes !!!
Algun dia me gustaria que vengan al Perú, aqui hay mucho fanaticos de Radiohead que esperan ese asombroso dia. I love this video, they are a great band, one legend.
Tom: Can I borrow your h, Johnny? Johnny: OK Thom: ...Computer Jonny: lol Thom: (Nice Joke), isn't it? Thom: I want you to know, your h's not coming back! Jonny: I love you but enough is enough, enough of that stuff!
I bought the 'Radiohead for Piano' book, and this song is on it! I was like THANK GOD because..listen closely to that melody. It's really beautiful, especially the instrumental bridge...
I came across this concert on ARTE ( a french TV) accidently it was a nice surprise, but can u imagine i live in paris and didn't know about this concert? bloody hell, i could have been there , it would have been dream coming true. RH ARE THE BEST
this song, its sounds really increible in acoustic, i like so much de sound of the guitar of jonny, when he played de verse one octave up, so beautiful...
This song is like a wound you can´t stop touching.
@Yute Hube it’s easily on my top 5 radiohead songs
That’s a great analogy
😂 somehow radiohead fans are much edgier than the music
@@saullandiof5768 I don't know, but coming in a radiohead live perfomance video to call radiohead fans edgie sound a lit bit "edgie" to me🤔🤣
🖤
Great camerawork here. Note to all future concert footage editors: the camera angle doesn’t need to change on every down beat.
❤️
So true!
so right!
I am looking at you Radiohead Glastonbury 2003 O.O (I still love that show though)
Many times, the camera crew and editors aren't fans of the bands - especially now with DEI. The overall product suffers for it.
Jonny's improvisation in hear is really nice and Thom's voice is sound beautiful as always.

this song brings back memories of listening to Radiohead while my parents argued and i freaked out in another world. incredible
do they still argue?
@@bruhmoment5700 This is indeed a bruh moment

all of these acoustic performances makes me see their music in a new light. just incredible.
knives out is such a memorizing sight to be seen live. jonny is so good
I love the mix of Thom's rhythm acoustic and Jonny's Tele arpeggio playing in this barebones version. Haha I was in Paris when this performance happened, sadly I couldn't go :(.
I love the atmosphere that this song gives the room, it's so beautiful
Love the lead guitar on this track - lounge-like jazzy noodling, so nice to hear live!
These acoustic version are unreal. I am experiencing their music in a new light. Thanks for posting.

My favourite song of Radiohead, one of the best songs...
I was listening to this song like 1000 times a day
Gel de bir daha dinle
This band is so good that they sound even better live
Oh, I'd love to look into your eyes, Thom. You are absolutely brilliant and perfect.

man i just can't get enough of these guys
I love the fluid, golden mid-tones highlit w/ the deeper notes. This is BEAUTIFULLY
the tone of jonny's tele plus is mental! sooo jealous i want to be jonny's tele!
I love how Jonny choose not to sit here.
I also love that his playing is so good it drives Tom into another dimension, everytime.
Johnny isn’t talked about enough. The guitar improv here is just untouchable. So simple and so powerful.
Thank you Creator for me still on this plane listening to this. This song and Radiohead in general dragged me through dark times around 2007. Years of sadness and joy passed through my life with this song.
Radiohead are a kick ass band. This is an awesome rendition of this already brilliant song. They are so intense live. Gonna have to see dem live.
you ever end up seeing them?
the lyrics are realy strong, one of my favorites, and it's one of the must fun to play
“14 years ago” crazy
This was the song that locked me into being a diehard Radiohead fan ... beautiful
This was one of the best concerts ever, i wish i could have been there.
I heart this song dearly.
beautiful... my all time favourite song...
Beautiful melody
I want you to know
He's not coming back
Look into my eyes
I'm not coming back
So knives out
Catch the mouse
Don't look down
Shove it in your mouth
If you'd been a dog
They would've drowned you at birth
Look into my eyes
It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth
So knives out
Cook him up
Squash his head
Put him in the pot
I want you to know
He's not coming back
He's bloated and frozen
Still there's no point in letting it go to waste
So knives out
Catch the mouse
Squash his head
Put him in the pot
I want you to know
He's not coming back
Look into my eyes
I'm not coming back
So knives out
Catch the mouse
Don't look down
Shove it in your mouth
If you'd been a dog
They would've drowned you at birth
Look into my eyes
It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth
So knives out
Cook him up
Don't look down
Shove it in your mouth
I want you to know
I'm not coming back
I'm bloated and frozen
Still there's no point in letting it go to waste
So knives out
Catch the mouse
Don't look down
Shove it in your mouth
This song is amazing, amazing, amazing.
the change in lyrics at the end from “he’s bloated and frozen” to “i’m bloated and frozen” makes this version all the more raw i think
wow!!!! jonny greenwood's playing and thom yorke's singing have never sounded better. that performance was simply amazing. the crowd look awestruck
