I tried to play along with the original song and it was in F, I think your tuning is half a step down to Eb that is why you play it from F#. Great cover and great effort for the tabs. Keep rocking, greetings from Egypt.
Hi Chusss, thanks for the comment.. Joe is tuned down a half step and that's why you hear the song in F.. I play it in Standard Tuning for the guitar players that prefer to stay in Standard Tuning or that can't tune down for a reason or another.. Greetings from Finland ( incidentally one of my closest friend is from Cairo 😅👌)
Hey Steph just wanna say a massive thanks i just learnt this and only took a few hrs and thanks to your precise tab and showing how you play ive managed to get it like yours keep doing what you're doing mate 👍👍💙
Holà Moises, thanks for the nice comment.. I think I answered this question already some time ago.. Look at the comments and you might find what you are looking for..
@@StephGarridoYou're welcome, I already studied what you did for the last album it was great ! and quick question why do you play it in standard tuning ? Is it to make it more accessible since satch plays in E flat now or personnal preference? ( I use the whammy DT to counteract this problem on the last albums since my JS is in standard tuning :) )
Well Valentin you guessed right, I play those tracks in Standard Tuning to allow all guitar players that don't have a guitar in Eb to learn and jam along with Joe's tunes..
@@StephGarrido That's what I figured it's a really good idea. Your track of spirits ghosts and outlaws was the only one i could train on before i got my whammy DT. I was so frustrated not being able to learn some of his songs because of the tuning since he switched to E flat back in 2010 if I remember correctly :) !!
I started with a lot of reverb and delay but it wasn't doing the trick.. So I went drier and drier.. For a song called Sahara, I thought it was appropriate.. So there is only a bit of distortion on the principal lead guitar with a bit of delay and reverb added for the "legato solo" part.. I used my Helix Native for everything..
Nice work Steph. Maybe you could put out another Satch Video you know something easy but if you do could you make the tabs a little bigger these tabs are small just trying to help. Also thanks for the BT . Keep on Rock'n .
I got a few plans that might please you 😉 Thanks for the feedback about the Tabs, I'll see what I can do.. In the meantime try to watch those on a big (ish) screen and you should be fine.. 😊👍
Hey Ludovic, I started Faceless transcription a month ago and I finished it in a day.. But then I moved to a new house and got pretty sick, when I got better Pumpin came out and I focused on that (I just finished the backing track today).. When I'm done with the videos from pumpin I 'll finish Faceless.. 😊 Greetings from Finland
Is that the EZ-Drummer that you're using? It kind of looks like it but I don't know. This video is way cool, though. It's inspiring. Thank you for sharing. \m/ : )
Very nice playing, too! Nice tone and all. Is that also a plug-in? You're a great player. You should do more videos, if not already. I'll be following your stuff.
Thanks Harry for these nice comments 😊👍 The drums are from Superior drummer 2 from tooltrack, programed on cubase. The plug in I use for the guitars is the Helix Native from line 6. I'm actually working on a few Satriani tracks at the moment but I had to slow down for health reasons. As soon as I regain full function of my right arm I'll upload more stuff, including some really cool things 🤘😁👌
@@StephGarrido Hey, sending you healing juju on your arm. You've inspired me to learn the song! I gig every weekend in Phoenix, Arizona so I don't get much time to do extra fun stuff on the side. Isn't Superior Drummer the next upper level software by ToonTrack? I use EZ-Drummer and Presonus Studio One but I haven't done anything in a couple of years. Just been busy gigging and working my day job. I also sub for other local gigging bands. Take care of yourself and I'll be following you. I hit the Subscribe button so it's on! : )
Dude awesome job! Thanks a lot! Any chance you could share the tab for the lead part also? I believe people would pay you a coffee for that (me I would!) ;)
Thanks for the nice comment 😊👍. I don't feel really comfortable sharing the Tabs, and it's not a question of money, if you have guitar pro (and I warmly recommend it) you can try copy the Tabs from there. The only people I share my work with are of course my students (I teach online all over the world 😉). Thanks again for the nice comment and I have a new video coming out soon that's going to be ready cool I think 😁👌. Greetings from Finland
Sorry no, the video is a result of very hard work combining transcribing, playing, recording and video editing.. I can't separate any of these or give them away for free..
Perfect as always Steph! And effortlessly played! Thanks so much!
Seriously, this is awesome. Barely been out a few days this must have been an insane effort to put together XD many thanks!

Great Job! I like to record Satriani cover in multitrack like you!
It's brutal, how create this perfect tone for boss gt10, multieffect.
