Someone decided to steal my recording and publish it on their channel (th-cam.com/video/vQB-327jZQ4/w-d-xo.html) Not sure yet what I'm going to do about it, this is after all a project I did for the public domain, out of love. But thanks to all of you for listening and commenting!
The truly just is he who feels half guilty of your misdeeds. The truly great man is he who would master no one, and who would be mastered by none. When you have solved all the mysteries of life you long for death, for it is but another mystery of life. Birth and death are the two noblest expressions of bravery. He who listens to truth is not less than he who utters truth. Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need. He who would share your pleasure but not your pain shall lose the key to one of the seven gates of Paradise. In this mood, Kahlil Gibran wrote: "Only an idiot and a genius break man-made laws and they are the nearest to the heart of God." I long for eternity because there I shall meet my unwritten poems and my unpainted pictures.
As beautifully written as it is, in hindsight I question the true wisdom of Gibran’s florid prose here. I agree with some of it. One major thing is that not one of us is righteous, we are all in need of forgiveness, and have to come with humility or we are absolutely done for. To dig deeper into real truth one has to goto the scriptures, and to Christ
