I love how the spare tire carrier connects to the body & chassis. Definitly loven the taller tire .Very good crawler ! I thought for sure it was going to get high centered going over the bridge .
The course looks great! HPI venture FJ looks nice on there too Excited to see more rigs on the course! I think you did a good job filming while controlling at the same time. Even though its a tight space to work in… I know it’s a challenge videoing at times… I do appreciate and applaud all your efforts to keep us entertained!
Good to see you got er back in action! 😊 nice to see the tan version, I have the metallic grey. I have a playlist of the build and some running as well if you have deadtime… 😂
@@gerrysoldguyreview I'm running a hobbywing fusion se 1200kv with 18t pinion, Shift Rcs XB servo, definitely get you some cvds or Axial scx10ii universals fit with a little filing for better steering
Great looking rig, I’m not very familiar with HPI, only been in this hobby for 2 years now. First time finding out about HPI was a Ken block car . I’ve heard they’re sort of making a comeback. Have you considered relocating the battery ? Big 3S lipo over the rear axle isn’t the best for crawlers. Maybe a side tray running a shorty pack ? Otherwise your course looks fun , run 1/10 scale or 1/18 stuff by looks of it
Nope, don’t have one of them but might get a builders kit down the road so far the oldest crawler I got is an SCX 10 JK 2012. It has got a whole new power system under outside of it. It’s all stock.
Fantastic Gerry what an brilliant course great video
Glad you enjoyed it!😁
Nice looking fj it seems very capable, the coarse is coming along nicely, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out!
Love the indoor course and of course I love the channel Gerry.
Thanks so much Carl!

I was worried about that bridge too! I made it to test out all trucks!
That's a sharp course, Gerry. I always wanted an HPI Crawler King but never got one. Great rehab on this Venture.
It is a nice truck! And now with parts available I can drive it harder!
That's....was good video mister Gerry🛻🏆
Glad you liked it! Thanks Kevin 😁
Nice crawler course. I should build one myself. Great video.
Keep em coming Gerry!
It is a blast to build!
Course looks great, fj is gonna be a good contender for the challenge. Awesome video Gerry 👌
I am excited to see how it does!

@marklarsen-ne2ws I will look into that
FJ is looking and performing well. Nice indoor course you got going for the winter months.
Just about done with both! Should be doing some testing today.
👍!
Guess I will have that issue to look farward to. Just got 2in1, servo and body for the venture.
I think mine was just installed incorrectly, I found my owners book and it is installed correctly in the book
@gerrysoldguyreview OK, thanks for heads up.

Early crawlers were all about weight bias, I only run it with 2s and right not it's running about 60/40 to the front. Hpi was the brand years ago!

Now that they are back I will probably work it out more! Can't go wrong with the scx10!
