      @@KaioFalcrow is it compulsory to learn pwmoves both sides like you're doing in the video?

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@tomlong7619 it's not, but I really recommend it to develop more body control and to learn the move faster :)
      because when you improve one side, the other side will improve automatically, especially for Flare because is a very symmetrical move. You don't have to if you don't want btw

    Excellent teaching. I'm new to flare and breakdance also, just one week. Main goals are tumbling but there's a lot in BD that is helpful. I couldn't understand the 2nd half of flare until watching your very good video and I have added it to my traing program. I like how it's broken into the different moves so I can focus on any move as a single exercise and over time maybe connect them. Thanks, this is very helpful to me.

    Thank you for this video! I went through all the steps, and it was challenging, which is a good thing.

    Hey Kaio I got a couple of questions for u … how often do u do scapula workouts and if I do shrugs with avg weight for my size will that help me with flaring a bit?

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Right now I don’t workout frequently, but I would recommend to alternate between workout days and rest days or days where you train another muscle group. For Flares I recommend doing L-sits, Tuck planches and variations instead of shrugs, you don’t really need shrugs for Flares, because in Flares you actually do the opposite movement of a shrug. If you like to use weights I would recommend lateral raises instead. But again, the most effective workouts for Flares are L-sit and Tuck planches variations :)

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, it is totally normal :) usually it's good to take some rest days in between, for example if you practice monday and tuesday, you can rest on wednesday and even thursday and then practice again on friday. Even if you try to alternate between training days and rest days, it can still happen that some days are better and some days are worse. The important thing is that there is a progress in the long run :)

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  ปีที่แล้ว

      It really depends from your starting point and your flexibility, if you have already a good strength and flexibility it could take just some days, if you need to work on your flexibility and build the strength gradually it could take some months.. so basically it can really change from person to person, from just few days up to 3-4 months if practicing correctly

This morning I was doing this follow along n I have been doing it for a few months now this morning I had a 30 minute flare session with no pain any where but then a few hours later I went back to try n do another session I did 3 rotations decent but then wen I tried to do another 3 rotations I swept my leg close to the floor but wen I went to kick it up to send my non sweeping leg underneath it the hip flexor of my sweeping leg felt like it had a very tight knot it in so I had to stop 😔 .. do u know y this might have happened or do u know wut I should do to loosen up the knot ?

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I recommend you stopping and resting for some days, or even weeks, you can still practice other moves where you don't have to swing the legs. Try to avoid all the movements that make you feel uncomfortable at the moment, when you feel fine, start practicing slowly and carefully again :)
      I would not recommend practicing this routine or flares in general 2 times per day btw, it could stress the body. 3-4 times per week should be enough, during the other days you can practice other moves :)
      How is your flare going btw?

      @@fancyAlex1993 yes exactly, you need some strength and flexibility basics, the L-sit is one of the most important ones for Flares, but also the tuck planche :)
      plus I would recommend a decent pancake stretch flexibility

      Hey! It’s normal at the beginning! Probably you need to strengthen your core and shoulders muscles! L-sit and V-sit are 2 great exercises to have a better control on Flares

    I stuck in 2 round flare, im not skinny tho, my weight 87kg, but i can do flare, thats cool, takes me 6 month to unlock flare,( not perfect flare) but i can still do it, before im lack of flexibility, and i keep training my flex and yeah i got it, flexibility is key in my opinion to able execute flare although not perfect but my body like floating a bit when i do flare😅thats awesome, thanks@kaiofalcrow for the tips☺️ i want to be bboy one day,
