Rog and Dave dont sound the same while playing this masterpiece and both versions are great. BUT, Nick Mason has the best live version with Guy playing the bass!
It’s great to hear different interpretations! That’s why I always hate when bands just play the studio versions note for note live. It’s way less exciting unless it’s really intricate, then it gets a pass.
I remember watching this live...I was so blown away by the excitement of it all that I thought I was hearing Sheep until that slide guitar (?) began. The excitement nearly killed me when I heard it.

for some reason this version its from POST waters PinkFloyd... the version of Delicate Sound of Thunder, Pulse, and Gimours... cause the live versions are more like MEDDLE live in Pompeii or maybe i didnt seen/heard a proper live version of one of these days between DSOM - TW
