If you heat the van up super warm inside, it should melt the ice off the back door. Put the kerosene heater near the back. Also, take the venting fan out of the window. Just one small window opened only a tiny bit should be more than enough fresh air for safety inside. And you'll be more comfortable and you can use less kerosene. Having that vent in the window is wasting so much heat!
hi, I am Mr. Amine from Algeria I am employed in a state company, in the evening I see your videos with pleasure and above all it calms me and I dream of having a camper van and traveling with it
I'm glad you decided to park at the road side station. If you're nervous to drive in the snow. SAFETY is your first priority. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Thank you for sharing. Please stay safe on your journeys
Your videos are relaxing and good vibing! They're perfect to watch at night. And your "product advertising" is perfect. Will do a marathon while waiting for the next video.
Hi! Good to see you, and glad you pulled into the station overnight when the snow started to pile up. It was a wise decision. You asked about the ice on the car and rear lights. Believe it or not, hot water will get rid of it and, depending on location of ice, just running the heater in your car. If it's on the front window, turn on the defroster and it should melt it. If you turn on the car heater for a little bit and point the vents towards the middle of the car/vehicle, that will also help get the ice off of places like the back windows. Just remember to dry any areas on the outside once you have the ice completely removed so whatever wet and/or dampness doesn't refreeze. Please drive safe, and happy holidays to you and your wife!
Hi from the UK. I live watching your uploads and thank you for the subtitles. However, when I watch full screen they disappear. Is it possible to have them on full screen? Many thanks. Safe travels.
RCC!..Excellent video..great equipment and BTW some great suggestions below about venting..I always marvel at the nice spots you can stay at in case of emergencies…Of course, my wife watches and always wonders as you are getting so comfortable in the van is your wonderful wife home cozy with a quilt and reading or watching her favorite show (and of course munching on her favorite snack/dinner)…Keep safe and let me add a Merry Christmas to you and your wife…PS..you have my permission to speak more n🤣🤣
Feliz aventuras! Te veo desde Chile,,!!✨🎄
Hello from Texas! I like watching you cook in different ways, but my favorite is still when you use your college days rice cooker and your clay pot from your wife. I don't know why I like that so much. Your sandwich maker for breakfasts is also what i look for on your breakfasts. Hahaha, is it strange that I am taking notice of a complete stranger's eating habits? I don't know you in real life, but I feel like you are a friend I've had for a long time. I do have just one question. Do you eat your dessert immediately after your dinner? Where do you fit all that food? I'm a small person and I can't eat that much so it's incredible to me to see others with a big appetite. I look forward to your next video!!
It's not strange 😅 as I'm a small person too I also love the old rice cooker, the clay pot gifted from Wife and the various toasted sandwiches in the nifty sandwich device 😊
Thank you for your comment! Actually, I’ll be using a clay pot in the next video 😊. As for the amount of food I eat, I’m 170 cm tall and not particularly big, but I think I get hungry because I walk a lot during the day and night while filming.
Seasons Greetings RCC:R Thankyou for providing this frosty adventure ~ I think I would have died from heatstroke today if it wasn't for a snowy video to watch.. can you believe it's 45°C where I live in Australia?!? 🥵🥵🥵
Hello Friend! Geeze!! I don’t even have any words!! All that snow & ice, I wish I was there! (I think🥴 it’s been years since I’ve been in weather like that🤭). Regarding the ice buildup on your back lights, maybe since it’s not glass, you might could use warm water? Although it would probably just refreeze again so I’m not sure. I am thinking that possibly ice cannot build up or stick onto some thing that is oily? As oil repels water? Just an idea. Thanks again, I am loving this trip. See you next time.❤
От конденсата попробуй окна изнутри намазать пеной для бритья. А так же можно ещё дополнительно силикогель попробовать насыпать в ёмкость и поставить на коврик для ног. Так же он продается как наполнитель для кошачего туалета.

my first time to see your channel i started with the purchase of the HIACE, you have to start talking even in japanese and apply translation on the video to have socialization impact and here your feelings about what you go through . this will have a huge impact on the channel my name is sayed a new follower
I don't think you should burn that kerosene stove inside the car, because you'll get fumes. Look at various heaters with external exhaust pipe. For example, truckers and campers have long used diesel heaters with external exhaust pipe and separate hot air outlet pipe to heat their vehicles, tents, etc. You'd probably only need a 5kW heater for a small space like that.
Hi! Watching RCC before bed has almost become a tradition for us: the capsule-like mini-hotel made out of a Toyota creates a cozy and safe atmosphere. Your English is excellent-it's a pleasure to listen to you. However, I think if you commented on certain moments in Japanese with English subtitles, it would add a unique flavor to your storytelling (like いただきます). It would also be amazing if you showed the map of the area you're driving through more often and briefly talked about nearby landmarks like mountains, rivers, or cities. We're also a bit worried about you sleeping in such low temperatures. It seems that, unlike some other "dangers" you mention, this might actually pose a real threat to your health. It would be fantastic if the Toyota could be insulated better so it wouldn't lose as much heat overnight. Oh, and watch out for frozen chicken! We feel like you might not be cooking it long enough in the slow cooker :D And about removing ice from rearlights-I’ve never had an issue with it; it usually comes off on its own pretty well. But since you have a kettle, you could try pouring warm water (not boiling) into the gap between the ice and the car body.
And hey, you should definitely visit Russia sometime! Here, you'll encounter some real dangers: waking up in the morning to find your Toyota propped up on bricks, with no wheels-or any other parts of the body that weren't bolted down securely! 😄
Good morning my friend...I woke up to 4 Celsius. Which is alittle chilly where I live. Good thing for my 4 season sleeping bag 😅 Van doesn't feel cold all bundled up. Be safe!

Much love❤

Try putting hot water on the rear that might work. Nice video love to see alot of snow.
You should drill a hole in the roof and install a woodstove inside. A small one.
