I discovered your channel with an episode you were playing MHW and I started playing this game for the very first time, and I love it now so hard! 😂, I am close to start Iceborne but at the moment I'm stuck in the quest of the Witcher (the Leshen is very strong 😅). Almost 20 years ago, there was a brief period where I was living with my mother, brother, uncle, and grandparents in their house in the countryside at the top of big hill with huge lake at the bottom. I was in highschool and on Christmas break when it snowed real hard for nearly a week. We couldn't go anywhere that whole time because there was so much snow. I had just got Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (Portable 2nd in Japanese) and played the heck out of it while we were pretty much trapped in doors. You said you played that game too so I'm sure you remember the snowy mountain area and Pokke village. Well as you can imagine, the feeling you described of playing Iceborne with a snowy setting all around you both in the game and in real life; I experienced that exact same feeling. It was like the fantasy blended with reality. It was incredible, and even now about 18 years later, It is still one of my most special memories in my life. Being trapped in the snow with my family and my PSP...
Watching your videos, I think "Wow! This guy really knows how to live.". I'd love to go car camping someday. Especially while playing Monster Hunter like this. I play lots of different weapons in Monster Hunter but barely touched the bow. I'll definitely be using the bow in Wilds, and would love to see you play Wilds when it comes out!

I love Monster Hunter. I started with Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii. My favourite is probably MHGU (MHXX for Japanese players.) 3U and 4U comes close too. I like the older games more than the newer ones. The idea to play games like this on a long trip sounds very cozy.

I have hesitation for Monster Hunter Wilds despite the fact that it seems incredible because I have little energy to devote to video games, and I need to find new housing in real life. But I wonder if the Matrix is really real life, isn’t it? In my life, I’ve already played 6 to 10 hours a day. It wasn’t really good for my health. I don’t know if we are a bit crazy.
