I'm from Kochi, Kerala. I watched Sairat yesterday, my first Marathi film! I think Sairat is way better than this for its original picturization. The film - Dhadak looks like it lost the real flavour, intensity, which Sairat carried throughout.
Bollywood is trying to convert a classic into a masala chilled with fluffs and unwanted colours. :(
One more thing; those 2 characters will remain close to my hearts for years. What a flick! Sairat

I am a bengali girl,i don't understand anything in Marathi.But I have seen the original version yad lagla first.that was much much better than this.Its like OK,not bad type.But in the original (sairat) the song,the expression,the acting of the both of them was so killing especially in the last scene when the girl is looking at the boy in his eyes when he is going back on the stairs oh goddd.How superb was that.Both of the soaking each other's love.

Being a Bengali I didn't understand the language but loved the feeling of Sairat and could understand every bit of it. Here, being a hindi movie it's lacking in the feel.
Nothing can beat the madness and innocence of yad lagla. Although m not a maharashtrian nothing can match its magic💖
