Haven't missed an episode of Drag Race. The stories the performers tell of growing up in small towns in places like Tennessee, so effeminate from toddlerhood that they were too young to know to hide it from those who would not understand or forgive. Heartbreaking stories from the kindest, most humane (and talented!) people you could ever meet. I've learned a lot from drag performers. Like how to be a better human. Love to you, and best wishes!
I don’t think gender is fake! I believe that if you want to crossdress then that is something you choose, female to male or female to male, that is your choice. Label yourself as you desire. Don’t get pissed off or sore feelings when someone says anything different. We are strong and we are able to control we we desire!
I enjoy watching drag occasionally but think that it is not very reality based. Modesty is important as well. Living too much in a fantasy world tends to diminish capacity to learn real world issues, such as those that lead to higher level studies. For this reason, I think letting kids do drag shows often isn't a super idea. (I have no problem with adults doing what they want when no one is harmed.)
