For anyone who has followed the bands over the years, & has witnessed their evolution, you'll recognize this as one of the best of all time, for that era. What a parade changer!
This got 40 for music. 20 for drill. 36 for suit. So, with a decent suit (and this one sucked), this would have ran away with the parade (like 1984)...
Yes, they had it all except for the costume. It was tough to beat a costume designed to look best in the dark and could change into something with a totally different look thanks to the wizzardry of Charlie Schaffer. Palmyra put on a show that had never been seen before and was complimented by an awesome Captian's costume and presentation by Charlie Molnar. Till this day people still say Fralinger was robbed, but Palmyra was so innovative they were impossible to beat that year.

i have Palmyra on video from 1972 they were unbeatable great captain Charles Molnar and alot of talent in the band someone should post the 1972 champs
