Best performance by far on the street this year! If they don't take first, they were robbed. Phenomenal job South Philly! Best of luck!!

I was up the street from the judges box when SP got done and I literally GASPED at the costumes - I knew right then and there they were gonna take it. Incredible!
Absolutely took our breath away watching in Cocoa Beach, FL. It was my #1 FAVORITE before they even announced it as the winner.
We don't see many traditional christmas/holiday mummer themes very often.
Hope to be back to see next year's in person again. :)

I'm 52, and been watching the String Bands all my life. This was outstanding. So much going on here.
We're so lucky to have the Mummers here in Philadelphia, and this was the best of some really great bands. Maybe one of the best performances I've seen through the decades.

I thought this one would win and sure enough. I loved the opening look especially starting at 0.13 And the Gold ornaments were outstanding. All the customs were the best I've ever seen.
I live down the street from the Polish American String Band on New Year's Day they are hammered LOL
The best band won. Perfect execution at every level. But nothing can ever top those gold costumes...

Sorry, i miss the days before thebands had to put on broadway shows in the street. Give me the marching bands any day.
Why is video quality so bad?
This was NOT a first place performance. The whole ranking system boiled down to who spent the most money, and they imported shit from Poland. The whole thing is pay to win now
