they are doing what ever they can, however, its not enough and resources are stretched thin. the open border policy is making life difficult for law enforcement down there. i know a while ago, FHP had sent extra troopers, and the National Guard had members down there. Not sure if they are still down there. ive seen stories where the migrants will stand along Overseas hwy and wait to be picked up. For a while the Tortugas were closed due to the hundreds of migrants that turned up there.
