    You who are reading this, perhaps I will never meet you, but I hope you fulfill everything you propose, that the bad times do not depress you, take a deep breath and continue. I love you even if I don't know anything about you.

    Amazing story and great, simple animation. It's crazy just how simple connecting to source is and being zen. Literally the easiest thing in the world to do, sit in silence. Our world would be SO MUCH BETTER if we could just all do this daily!

    • @ProphetDragonC
      @ProphetDragonC ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When you say sit in silence does that mean not thinking as well or do you still hold thoughts in your mind

    • @CerridwenAwel
      @CerridwenAwel ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@ProphetDragonC it means being in a completely receptive state. You are aware of your thoughts, but just let them be. You are aware of your sensations, receptive of them, but let them be, without engaging, without clinging or wishing they just disappeared. It's quite difficult to do

    You can see the insane amount of effort put into the graphics, and it all was totally worth it because they help a lot in delivering the words of the narrator with emotions and profoundness

    WAIT, I just wrote "The Art of Silence" on my Creative writing book and a week later this came out. What a coincidence and wonderful story and video by the way. Mine is on how you can use it as a social skill, learning experience, to gain knowledge and wisdom about life or people and how you can use the silence as your advantage.

    I saw this one video a couple weeks ago that said if you get off your electronics and just stare at a wall for 5 minutes you will feel peace. I now sit in silence every night after a long school day. Let me say I have never felt more peaceful and calm in my daily life then I have now. So you should start it now.

    2:25 I think the "silence" might stand for any form of stimulation. At the time that this tale was probably created, noise was the most used distraction. Nowdays our phone has taken that place. If you want to understand what I mean, take a time of your day that you are usually always on your phone. For me it's the busride to work. And in that time, do not take out your phone and just be aware of your surroundings. Give your thoughts attention and appreciate them. In my opinion, the main problem in the modern world is that we don't think as much anymore. We go from one stimulation to the other and do not give each of them time to develop and thus we don't take our lessons from them. Stay healthy and meditate

    • @astro2450
      @astro2450 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love your interpretation of the story’s message, it’s very true that in modern society we now seek instant gratification with the internet at our fingertips, but you’re right: sometimes we need to take some time away from distraction to understand our thoughts and feelings, to reflect on ourselves. Thank you for the wise advice!

  • @vikaskhanna8559

    Every one has a seed of Bodhi but its upto the individual to water that seed and make it into a fully grown tree of enlightenment.
    Like a farmer, we have to protect that seed from weather, over watering etc and when that seed becomes a fully grown tree its time to enjoy the fruits.
    Same is with meditation, when we start practicing our mind constantly wanders away in past or future but hardly stays in the present moment. Even in the past, it remembers an unpleasant or a pleasant situation and desires it repeat again and again and bring him the same pleaseure. He wants to avoid those unpleasant situations of the past at any cost. The key is, dont try to stop the thoughts from coming, instead the moment mind wanders away, bring it back to your breathing process.
    Keep practicing patiently persistently ardently to get the best fruits of Dhamma. May all be happy be peaceful be liberated .

    Great video on your channel, which is in fact an equivalent able to be found in all our mind. Be it Zen or Prajna, the inner peace. When we find silence between noises, or the noise breaking silence, the apparent distinction between noise and silence should ultimately vanish into thin air. Then every breath of the air refreshing, and our Prajna shines once again.

    "Wow, what a profound and thought-provoking story! 'The Power of Silence - A Zen Master Story' by Taller Tales reminds us of the transformative impact silence can have on both our personal lives and society as a whole. In our fast-paced and noisy world, embracing moments of silence allows us to reconnect with ourselves, find inner peace, and gain clarity. It's a powerful tool that enables us to listen attentively, cultivate empathy, and foster understanding. By practicing the power of silence, we can become catalysts for positive change, promoting harmony and compassion in our interactions with others. Let's remember the lessons from this story and create a more peaceful and connected world, one moment of silence at a time."

      i think it's because you have to experience something to know its truth.
      i understand most things other, wiser people tell me and i understood the message of this video, but in order for me to _know_ it in my heart is an entirely different story. i get the guidance from good teachers but i have to make the experiences myself, just like a child being told not to touch the stove.

      @@TallerTales Thanks, I figured anthor way to do it by spliting the forground(characters) and background into 2 seperate images and then using key frames and zoom in davenci resolve or any editing app to create the movement effect.
