    Be careful guys! These things really can hurt! I was several times thinking: "You are flying ay to close to yourself and way too agressive on the cyclic control." Sorry for the crash! Patience is the best help in flying helis! Keep it doing!! We all went through this!

    Maiden flight for mine , yesterday. Flew it scale only, knowing those parts can be hard to replace, or take half of the flying season to come off “back order”. Fly safe!

    Ive had mine since the sale but haven't flown it yet. Waiting for premium conditions before i take it out. Ive been practicing with my little in house heli and cheap drones. Im sure i can handle it though. Not in a hurry to do any flips though lol

    oh wow, epic video guys.. he probably coulda pulled off a backflip, that woulda been easier than flying inverted.. 330 s looks like a great heli

    Blud seemed nervous lol I’ve def spent my time on the sim, am no where near a pro. But I know even the 450 scale helis can send people to the gulag.. I give yall kudos for flying in that small field near powerlines lol

    The drone experience must of really helped I was hovering in safe for ages when I first started. The 330 is ok to wreck there are much more expensive heli that you don't want to crash.

      Yeah I have no experience flying 3d helicopter and ordered a goosky s1, while not insanely expensive it is quite a bit to lose in a crash first time I do something dumb. Had it for over a week now and I'm still to scared to fly it. Ended up ordering a xk k100, not as cool or fancy but I have seen videos of people crashing them multiple times and just keep flying them. And when they do break parts are super cheap and it's supposedly really easy to fix. Also if it's broken beyond repair you can find a replacement helicopter for a bit over 60 bucks. Im assuming I'm going to end up beating the crap out of it and crashing it several times, but if it helps me get experience I feel it's more than worth it to not crash something more expensive.

    • @stevejohnston8543
      @stevejohnston8543 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@nickarganbright7218 The only thing is an XK 100 is very under powered outside and it will more difficult to do any any sustained inverted etc (at least for me). One thing it will do, though, is teach you how to fly a collective pitch heli because it is twitchy as hell.

    • @nickarganbright7218
      @nickarganbright7218 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @stevejohnston8543 yeah that's basically why I got it. Wanted to learn on something cheap and crash resistant before flying the goosky, I for sure would have destroyed it if I went straight to it. Thought I was getting the hang of it on the k100 till I smashed it full speed into the deck😆. Broke a couple parts on it.😐 but hey that's why I got it🤷‍♂️. Ordered the parts plus a few extras of everything I thought I might break and am going to keep trying 🙃. Glad I went that route and didn't go straight to the goosky, and probably still have a bit to go till I feel comfortable trying it out.

    If you really want to learn to fly, just fly around for about a month and don't do any flips until you are comfortable in your flying. When you can put the helicopter anywhere you want and have total control, the you can start practicing flip. P.S. A SIMULATOR IS A MUST HAVE.

    Too many people buy a Heli, run home and try to play with their new toy having 0 experience. 1st off it’s not a toy, it’s a bitching awesome piece of equipment. There’s transmitter input, programming, and mechanical stuff you must learn 1st.
    Y’all need like 20 minutes on a sim at home or with some luck at a local HS, then get in the air with 230s or do it like I did… a nano CPS, 120 fusion, or Mcps, still need a big space no trees… practice hitting panic recovery, SAFE, or bailout high up and Throttle hold low to the ground because you will crash often enough and TH will let you crash over and over on those little helis, with little to no damage. Anything bigger will almost certainly need repair after a minor crash and if your constantly fixing you’ll grow tired and give up wich is a real shame because no RC offers what a CP Heli does… the sky and your skills are truly the limit.
    Watch the pros and you’ll see what I mean.

    Wow, so many mistakes here! Turning the heli on with the blade holder still on, you’re lucky the servos didn’t strip right away. The area is WAY too small and full of hazards. You don’t trim a flybarless heli in the transmitter like a plane, you should level the swashplate with a proper tool, and flying inverted is a fairly advanced move and something you should really be comfortable with in a simulator before trying in real life. Hope you fix the heli, and perhaps find a local experienced pilot who can guide you better 👍

      @alwaysforfun126 Did the helicopter survive? That's a lot of money for a helicopter. 400 bucks Dam It looked a lot more expensive than that, but still $400 is a lot of money For a Radio controlled helicopter. Have fun be safe and fly on! Do get a proper heli, not some blade heli. If u want to get a kit, get a 380 size heli. Also check out the goosky s2, its better that what blade could ever offer and its cheap to crash! Get a sim and put in some work.

    You'll learn that collective pitch rc helis are very tempemental and rarely will you put 1 in without damage. I'm guessing your spindal shaft is bent, main gear stripped, servos stripped, ball links broken, swash out of level and so on and so on. I'll admit, you either have money to spend or like just jumping in head 1st, I can tell you there are people screaming "WTF ARE YOU DOING" from the 1st 5 seconds, but hey man it's your heli you learn how you want. I will say though, you don't ever want it directly over head or behind you, a 330 size heli can still hurt you pretty good, but if you graduate into 400-700 SAB, or Gaui, T-Rex, or stay with Blade, they can hurt/kill you so be very cautious
