I think I really liked this video because of the family aspect and all of you enjoying doing something outdoors together. Wheneye lived in Venice fl.,,and I was catching Cobia & stone crabs on my back porch ,-that is where I learned about keeping one claw,,,,hhhmmm,,soo good-♡ .I made a friend that was a diver ,,she would retrieve my fishing poles when Cobia wood strike ♡,lol.

Nice catch Jackie. FYI, if you dunk them in a ice bath once the time is up, they won't over cook and can eat within 5 minutes. We do that with Dungeness.

Jacki as you cook the claws, at the end make some ICE WATER IN A BOWL then dump claws into the water. Putting them in the Freezer will not cool them off quick enough. Ice water will stop the cooking so they wont be stringy and tough. chill them in ice water about 10 min. then eat ya don't have to sit over night.
Nice, never had a stone crab before looks tasty though! I do love crab and lobster! I spent 6 months in Jupiter this year but wouldn't know the first thing about crab trapping, now I want to go back and learn how haha

Zip tie the door closed so you can tell if someone mess with your trap
Cannot use a zip tie. Has to be steel wire that will rust away quickly incase the float breaks away and the trap is lost.
