Aww! I honestly love Zac Efron so much! He’s so bloody down to earth! I can never stop smiling whenever I watch and listen to him! I can’t wait to wait this movie! 🥺💙
It feels like just yesterday I was 6 watching High School Musical. Now hes here playing a dad for the first time, and I'm almost 20.. seriously, hold onto your childhood. Time flies by sooo fast.
Zac is so kind and classy. Kinda liked Drew Barrymore and the music in the old version, but I guess the new Firestarter will be much better. The author himself said he really liked the new movie. When Stephen King sais yes, I cant wait for the flick. Especially with Zac Efron. Such talented actor, he elevates any movie he is in. Admired him since Me and Orson Wells and he was brilliant in his recent survival Gold.
There already is one! (Kinda) in HSMTMTS like it's an ode to the OG films with such a great cast, I mean Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett's characters are basically The Troy and Gabriella of that series. It's a fantastic show highly recommend it if you're an HSM fan.
I know it was done in jest but I don't think she should have been asked the question who is the cooler dad Zac or Chris. If she picks Zac she hurting Chris, if she picks Chris she hurting Zac best not to ask that question especially when the person is right there.
I agree, I also thought it was too personal when she asked him if would like to be a dad, I feel the same way if a woman was asked that question. That question is also a double edge sword because if he answers "no" then people would say he doesn't want to have children so he is forced to answer "yes". Right now he just wants to concentrate on his career, down the road if he wants to have children then he would or maybe he doesn't want to have kids.
@@cainabel2009 It undermines him as a whole. You can ALWAYS tell how interviewers and people see you professionally i.e if they take you seriously or not by the type of questions they ask especially if its personal.
@@cainabel2009 She would never ask Leo DiCaprio, Hugh Jackman, or any other serious actor this that is A list. They are reducing him down to just being eye candy and fan stanning fodder. Just based on all the trailers & and clips of the movie, its not even that heavy of a parenting film it's just Zac overseeing her with this super power war against the agents. It's a Stephen King film so idk why they are acting like it's an anne Hathaway type of movie where it centrally relationship and interpersonal dialogue heavy.
yep. She def botched her questions. This little girl is young but she's an actor. A child star. The interviewer speaks to her like she's an average 12 year old off the street. She's too personal and doesn't know how to actually highlight the film.
17 doesn't count. He was portraying a freaky Friday-esque character where is pretending to be the other character in a 17 year olds setting and environment that he had no direct or voluntarily control of. In fire starter he is a normal regular dad voluntarily (I.e like 96% of the rest of the world knowing became a father or knocked the woman up in the movie and naturally raised the kid as she grew up) who is protecting his daughter with powers and the mother isn't involved too heavily for the majority of the film. The mom is present but the trailer and book really convey it as a single dad force / task. 17 again didn't have a serious tone either. Teenagers need guidance but don't need to be raised like 12 year olds.
TBH? poor interview skills. The interviewer kinda spoke to them as if the both of them are seasoned serious actors and it's a gig for fun. What does Zac being a dad someday have to do with the promotion of the film? I know it's his first father role but it really feels like this whole promotion cycle he's being put in a box and reduced to just the HSM / hot guy we all want a gossip piece of and want to discuss personal matters of who he decides to have a kid with and when than his craft. Then again, I notice that Zac doesn't articulate himself extensively on the film and he speaks on it very humbly and politely but no better than the average person on the street would. I feel don't get a raw or organic sense of what it was truly like for him filming this or any true opinions. I hate to say it but I think I will skip fire starter although I am generally a Zac fan cause the promos for the movie minus the UK VS USA candy eating comparison are lacking. Zac and the kid are very humble, down to earth. Sweet and welcoming but it reminds me of someone abruptly being put into a project and not really knowing how to do it so they give generally nice answers and summaries hoping its good enough to detract from the performance on the job. The girl appears to have did a good job though. Zac as well but he seems very lacking expressions wise just based on everything we've been given. I may change my mind in the future and watch the film but for now Ill pass. Wish Zac and his co star luck though
“Thank you love” -Zac 🥺

I agree with everything you said and you gave perfected illustrated examples.
Ok Zack face is back to normal
Zac have you forgotten 17 again??

OMG, me and Ryan has the same age, 12. WTH!!
