    The fact that the guy is only like 21 or 22 and is as good as he is is impressive he could potentially box into his late 30's so a world title is definitely on the cards for this man

    I rate DDD as a good prospect but as of now nothing more than that, his next opponent is a limited cruiserweight who has recently moved to heavyweight, after 14 fights he should be facing better opponents than that if he wants to learn and improve. there are levels and for me his next fight is going back the way.

      Mark Cooper it’s interesting. Cause he keeps coming forward. Doesn’t move back. And has power. So he walks down most of his opponents. Be interesting to see if that would happen against the top. Probably not. But I think he’s getting better and better.

    I think they should stop asking about fighting Whyte. Should leave it more open question.
    DDD showing great promise and future, it's hard to put it into words but i still think he is a diamond or a gem that isn't polished yet. He is great and shown this by showing how easy he took care of Nathan Gorman. But from the looks of things i think the man should get some more head movements and footwork, just get him some more fights before calling big guns. I just think if they get him in with people like Chisora right now it may ruin DDD.
    After Joyce, just get him to fight some stronger oppositions that are below Chisora first. Something like Hughie Fury, David Price, Charles Martin, Gerald Washington, Robert Helius, adam kownacki, other prospects like Filip Hrgovic, Efe Ajagba, Tony Yoka. two or three of these fights of these level then move onto people like Michael Hunter, chisora, Osca Rivas.
    I just don't see why they want to rush him to fight Whyte, I get it be great if he wins as it will just fast track the guy to a world title fight but just looking at this and his fights so far, I don't think he can beat people like Whyte, Parker, chisora yet. Give the guy a few more fights for those under their level, build that learning and experience then put him in with the elites. Too early can ruin this guy who has a lot of potential.

    No doubt a talented boxer but they need to start stepping up his level of opposition.They need to start looking the ranking and start taking a risk putting him up with some top 15 or 20 rank fighters with different styles.Opponents that will actually hit back and who aren’t just coming for the pay day,this will in turn help him with valuable experience and when eventually he got the chance to fight for tittle or mandatory position it won’t be a strange thing for him.Otherwise he would go same way as Anthony Yarde,good he’s fighting Joyce next if he wins that Frank Warren and his team shouldn’t put him up with another unknown fighter from Eastern Europe or Ghana.There some decent American HW that he could beat,if they are well paid they could be tempt to come over here and fight him.

    • @finnneilson6229
      @finnneilson6229 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly, I think martin bakole or chisora would be a good step up for him, Personally I think he would benefit loads if he was sparring tricky opposition like Michael hunter to keep him sharp and improve his footwork and boxing skills, or just spar with some talented cruiserweights. Would also be good experience for hunter against the bigger heavyweights.

    Would be good to see him join Matchroom in time; I think they'd set out a clear path for him towards a world title over the next three to four years. He could be a top ten heavyweight already, but if he can take the steps one by one and fight the likes of Joyce, Chisora, Takam, Parker, Povetkin in the next couple of years, then no doubt he will get there. Frank Warren doesn't seem to work with a lot of the known heavyweights out there at the moment, which is why I say Matchroom.

    Obviously having harder sparring than real fighting because he ain't learned anything in a professional fight yet.
    He needs to fight real heavyweights not pump up cruiserweights .
    This lad will be brilliant but talk of him fighting the top guys shows to me Warren ain't confident in him and wants that money quickly.
