I ain’t gon lie fellas, we are all humans and we make mistakes, I get that. Idk if it’s because I’m a black American, but to me…it’s our unspoken job to protect the way black people are received/perceived. No one was asking you to crashout. But no matter how uncomfortable it was to be in that room, yall chose to be there! Stuff like this matters, black women get shitted on by everyone. Don’t allow that narrative to be spread.
And that’s where the problem is. People are attacking the boys forgetting that the problem didn’t start with them. It’s not right and it’s no excuse. I think Andrew should be held accountable for that he said as well. Imagine cutting weed and not ripping it from the root. It’ll grow back. That’s what y’all are out here doing here as well, ignoring the root and focusing on the part that shows
@Remarkable_Mess If they would've done their research then they would know what to expect. Just because the show has a lot of viewers doesn't mean that it's quality content. We know how Andrew is and know that comment is calm compared to other things that he says
They acknowledged that they made a mistske, your literally saying they shouldve gone back in time and not done it. You have to forgive and move on, its your choice wether you choose to keep watching or not @antasiaward1036
SNG has been a breath of fresh air for me for a while. In a space where all there seems to be is negativity and divide between men and women, especially on pods, here you fellas come with the laughs. I found in you two genuine black boy joy, bromance, and a really safe space. So much love and laughter. I recommended you to every one of my homegirls so you could be a relief to them as well. Your videos brought me so much happiness and relief from the repetitive and unoriginal hate speech and slander of women more specifically black women. Unfortunately something we have to deal with on a consistent basis is supporting and uplifting people who have to be reminded to stick up for us. Abuse of black women is such a natural state of being. It was specifically stated that black women were the butt of the joke (per usual), but the apology was for “the community” not black women. I watch the podcast only because you two were on it and I love you. I couldn’t finish it. I was sore about your so called unwilling participation in the whole bit. For me the apology was mid therefore I really hope that in the future you find it a lot more natural to protect black women who find it so natural to keep you supported. Y’all hurt my feelings. Love y’all. But damn…
U can't be mad at the listeners and let the speaker off the hook. U have to recognize that people come from different parts of the world and will not exactly understand or react to situations in your society the same way. Now they apologised and u guys still want to dictate how the apology should be. What about who made the comment, what about when Fuhad spoke for Meghan, or is she not black woman enough. No one is without mistake and we can't dictate people's apology to suit our feelings especially if they come from a different society with different perspectives.
Nah i felt this one. Their apology was kinda ehh for me & it makes me so sad cause i really love and enjoy them. They bring me so much joy and laughter. I feel like in the moment they thought it was funny “just jokes” but that YT man wasnt joking I MIGHT TELL YOU A JOKE BUT I WONT TELL YOU A LIE. And they allowed it because it was funny in the moment and now theyve realized after it being brought to attention that woah that was f’d. I appreciate them acknowledging they f’d up fr but they gotta come a bit better with an apology. Also i do think that man set them up for failure they are his competition how do you knock out competition in these podcast you remove their supporters. He set the bate they bit it. It’s unfortunate i really hope they make it right. 😢
@@kickingitwithrah3806 we all get to make mistakes and only realize and apologize later. It's human, as black people we also make serious jokes about white stereotypes and laugh about it. People should be able to voice their stereotypes without fear of bullying and its our responsibility to correct them. If someone apologize for their actions it means they see reasons with u, but if u try to dictate how they should sound or speak or what they should say then we as black women are not being reasonable.
@kimengtracy6222 I see what you are saying but what bothers me is they requested other parts removed from their time on that podcast but saw no issue with leaving that part in. To me, it means they lied and only coming forward because they are scared of the repercussions. If they didn't find an issue, they could have said that they weren't aware until it was brought up to them. Simple. With other videos and such that came forward, it states they don't like us. I'm good
I'm happy both of you ACKNOWLEDGED IT and is APOLOGIZING... I'm going to be super HONEST in this comment section. Yall did hurt those who helped build your platform up and honestly... I wasn't surprised by it. Black women are often used as a "joke" and the way yall laughed with so much JOY and GLEE hearing his words... Hearing YALL SAY anything about "support/protection" when it comes to Black women... I can't and don't believe you BUT I DO HOPE that these apologies are GENUINE because your supporters deserve better. I've said what I wanted to say... Stay blessed.
I agree 💯 with you. I feel like they have shown us who they are and we need to believe them. Fuhad really shocked me to be honest 🤦🏾♀️. They should have never gone on that show to begin with, they should have done the research and realized the type of jokes Andrew does. Also it’s about integrity, they claim they went on this tour because they love their community but then goes on Andrew’s show? A show where a white man continuously makes joke about black women and black people in general. They apologized because why not? PR probably told them to .I don’t feel like it’s genuine and I hope it doesn’t happen again. But for now I’m checking out . And no they laughed because that’s what they wanted to do . Yes there are other videos of them verbally saying slick stuff them self on this podcast. This videos has been up for a while and they didn’t see anything wrong with it. They even posted it on their platform . This apology came only because of all the backlash it has now received. They meant to laugh and this apology is not genuine.
@@maryj1249 Maya Angelou told ME/US a long time ago..."WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS YOU WHO THEY ARE, BELIEVE THEM THE FIRST TIME." Truth be told... I'm glad you guys addressed this. Flagrant has been going down hill for a while and Andrew just took the whole interview over and really ruined what I thought could have been such a great hang. It's been an ongoing problem with him and his podcasts. You're good in my book.
Flagrant used to be so good and genuinely funny, feels like Andrew just got way too edgey over the past couple of years. Episodes when he’s not on and it’s just the rest of guys are typically better
Not gonna hold you, the apology was weak lmaoo it was STRONG AS F*CK from a PR perspective but from a personal one, you can tell you guys just wanted to get through it, you didn't really dive into what was messed up about the situation fr just sorry, please don't stop our bag.
What is the messed up situation? Can you explain (not asking in a dickhead but in a curious way), I watched the Flagrant clip, and I don't get what the issue is. They want on a podcast with a guy thats comedy is based around ripping into cultures, of course he is going to bring up some cultural shit. You can see they look uncomfortable and they addressed that. But what is the issue actually? Or is it people just being upset like usual and complaining over someone make jokes, on a comedy podcast.
@@shdw_cono he uses mainly BLACK culture to makes his “jokes” and wanted them to join in on the disrespect if you don’t see the issue then maybe don’t comment on it keep it as a question don’t try and give excuses to his fcked up behavior once you make somebody uncomfortable it’s not longer comedy y’all need to learn the difference between jokes and just being offensive but I understand most of y’all don’t care black people much less black woman are constantly being used as a punch line.
The craziest part is……. I love them just as much as the next viewer… but we KNOW they don’t fuck with black women! Anytime they talk about a woman that’s a TEN OUT OF TEN she’s always white or a different race!!! And it’s also the fact that if they spoke against women in general they’d be up in arms… but let it be black women that they don’t value and they let it slide!!! They’ll stick up for their ANIME before they stick up for their OWN WOMEN… it’s pathetic!!! And it’s blatant!!
He literally set you all up, competition is real and the game is the game. Do your research before going on someone else’s podcast plus it’s okay to say no.
True they were set up real bad...i watched him laughing at their apology with another black guy on that couch..the guy hates black people..am sure they have learnt their lesson..next time they should do their research and respectfully decline
Only someone who is fake would have been set up here. Do people really think laughing at a stupid joke means that's what you really believe? That is a very childish and smooth brained way to view the world. It's still pretty funny though lol
@@jadedstargazer It’s not that they just laughed but they also have made other comments about black women that just tasteless and insulting. No laughing at a joke doesn’t mean it’s what you believe, but actions often times speak louder than words. Real question, did you think the joke was funny?

That's it for me. I wouldn't accept this from a yt person so it's hypocritical of me to accept this from them. "They only apologized because they got caught"! Had 2 MONTHS to address this but CHOSE not.
Firstly, the Flagrant episode in question was uploaded in July, they are issuing an apology now, not because they are remorseful, but because this could negatively impact their brand! They were called out about the comments when it aired, but not by enough of us, for them to care! Secondly, ladies, are we watching the same Flagrant episode? When Andrew made that joke, James threw his head back and even doubled over in laughter. All of Fuhads teeth and gums were on full display. They found what Andrew said genuinely funny. James even said “that’s hilarious”, when Andrew made the second comment. Yes, there were moments where they were clearly uncomfortable, but that wasn’t one. Also, Andrew is known for hiding his racism in his “jokes”. He makes disparaging “jokes” about Black people all of the time. Either James and Fuhad didn’t do their homework, which is hard to believe, or they just (newsflash) didn’t care! Black women, seriously, how many times do we have to allow men to degrade us and show a clear lack of respect/protection?? Go where you are celebrated, appreciated, loved, and respected! I want so much better for us, ugh!
Speakkkkk. They even seem like they trying to hold in their laugh. It seems so fake. As a black woman who grew up in very racist white towns the "shock" excuse is not it it's a cop out sorry idc as a black woman unprotected I always spoke up even for the black men who clearly hated me just cause I was black. They are black men they hold a lot more power than they think so them being complicit in misogynoir not once but three separate times was sad but expected. They will use their past of children bullying eachother with racism and colourism is insane. Ur a grown man. Grow up. I never once kept those harsh feelings to black men when I grew up I had to let my hurt go. But they wanna seem cool and get on with those who think horribly of them for clout. I'm so over it. And it's also not lost on me that they collabed with Noel and he hasn't said shi about the Tana situation..... this my last episode tuning in and I'm sure they don't care the black ppl who file out will be replaced with them edgy white ppl who hate BLK ppl to replace us. Oh well
Hey pretty lady, I am also a longtime supporter and I’m so deeply hurt by this. I don’t know if it was the flagrant episode but honestly speaking looking at some of the old episodes and even some of the more recent episodes it never really gave that they like black women. I feel so naïve to think otherwise. I went to one of their shows full of BEAUTIFUL black women and it’s like don’t panhandle us if it’s going to bring you the bag because we all know daddy’s like the bag BUT not off the back of us! Going to the flagrant podcast already was outlandish to me being that I am in the USA. I know how Andrew gets down. If you have time to find USA videos to react to then there most certainly needs to be time for you to get information on certain USA podcast. And let’s not forget they are just now saying something to us when that episode was back in July I believe. It’s also now makes sense why they both said that there were zero baddies in ATL. And we all know here in the US that Atlanta Georgia is the Mecca of beautiful Black people and beautiful black wealth. That was such an insult! I think I might be signing off as a former cult, baby.
Yes it's the one place I thought we could come together without the diaspora wars but atp they need a better apology with action then I'll believe then
The thing that does not sit right with me is: The segment of the show was recorded weeks ago, you and your team should have been in front of this! It feels ingenuine, looking at your feet, being "shocked" weeks after the fact... and during the backlash. You need a apology tour do-over. X from The Netherlands.
Flagrant podcast with them drop July 17th… it’s September 16th… the only reason this is being issued, is cause it was brought to light because of their comments about ATL women
@@montodd24 I pray people never make a mistake in their life that is televised publicly. And for all the black women jumping to accept their apology, please take a moment and ask yourself why they waited to return to their studio, waited until the other podcast dropped the clip, until they noticed the outrage and THEN apologized if they knew how bad it was when it happened… We have to stop accepting scraps from men and hold them to a higher standard. Stand up.
I saw the Andrew video when it dropped and the Atlanta video when it dropped and I didn't feel like they needed to apologize at all. It was clear how uncomfortable they were, they pushed back on some things and I frankly do not care if this two guys prefer white and ambiguous women - what does that have to do with me? This is not like Fresh and Fit and the others that are spreading actual disrespect and hate for black women
They did nothing wrong besides not defend. And to say it like men are the only issue is the orher problem. We hsve to hold anyone accountable even women because they can be problem also
Also why did the apology not get it's own space? It's just attached on to another video. Its giving how sorry are you really?? To your point waiting makes it seem like you were hoping no one took it the way it seemed.

Honestly that apology wasn't good enough. We helped to get them where they are. I'm not even from Atl and I felt a way listening to that. Not to mention all the comments made about nigerians and their different tribes. They needed to completely denounce their association with Shultz and call out his disrespect, especially Fuhad. Thank you so much ❤ I know you guys are in a lot of controversy right now and I did watch that podcast but I literally felt like that guy was baiting and had racial undertones either how he told those “jokes”. While I understand the points people in the fanbase have been making I also think that we should try to not forget about all the good times over one mistake. People please remember the joy and enjoyment these guys bring. Comedians push the boundaries all the time with races jokes and we laugh but it’s because they aren’t actually racist. That other podcaster was a weirdo and racist. Let’s agree to not hang out with weirdos or support them but y’all it’s been obvious this whole time that SNG love black women. That never changed.
Andrew was able to successfully bait y’all into looking bad in order to eliminate some of the podcast competition and sadly it worked. As a Black woman, someone who has been a loyal listener, Patreon subscriber, and someone who attended the Philly show on tour this truly hurts and idk if this “acknowledgement” is doing it for me.😕
Unfortunately, it's the first sentence that may actually get through to them. 💯 Tactical on Andrew's part and I have little sympathy since a lot of Black folks bailed on that dude a while ago. Them even going on the podcast mirrors this delayed apology; money first.

I agree with a lot you have said. There is a power you take when you walk away from a situation. I'm a great fan of both gents...even attended their tour but this was extremely disappointing. Andrew kept going with multiple insults and they sat there laughing along. It makes you wonder a lot about their character. Black women are the most unprotected group in America, and when you see 2 talented black men with such a platform make a mockery of them, it's heartbreaking. This is it for me. It was a good run. In hindsight.....I guess we shouldn't be too surprised. " All skin folk ain't kin folk."
i’m shocked at the comments that are eating this up. but then again they must also be black men who don’t see anything wrong with what they said, or non black people not really caring.
Appreciate yall addressing things at the top still left a lot to be desired. As a Black woman, and knowing how many Black women support you as evidenced by how we showed up to your DC shows, the apology could’ve been a lot more forceful and sincere. It sort of just checked the minimum boxes. And didn’t mention us specifically despite us being the most hurt in the situation.
That part. And then ending it with “anyway” This should have been a separate video, not sandwiched within a monetized video. Shows you how sincere they really are.
Thank you for addressing. We have to love, protect and support black women, always, even when it is difficult. In the states we don’t get much support in various rooms. We look for communities that have our back. ❤ thank you James & Fuhad for the apology.
They handled it well… there’s literally nothing for them to apologise for. They never agreed with Shultz on the things he was saying and considering Shultz is a comedian… they just laughed and kept it pushing. What were people expecting them to do? Get mad & start throwing hands? Shultz said what he said but James and Fuhad handled it as well as they possibly could. Many black women and men saying that they’re ’disappointed’ in them is just ridiculous.
@EndevourMan-gz8nl We can be disappointed all we want, keep your toxic dismissiveness to yourself. They are ppl & if they felt like they messed up, it's normal they adress it. Disappointed is legit & pretty light criticism in the first place. Don't act like we rioted & tried to cancel them.
@@greyscalesx If anything… you’re dismissing everything I said. I explained why they didn’t do anything wrong, and welcome any counter argument to what I said. James & Fuhad were shamed into making a response. I’ve seen many comments and videos about Shxts&Gigs saying ‘UNSUBSCRIBED’, I just saw the Shultz podcast clips and I can’t believe you guys. I’m unsubscribing’, etc. If they felt they did anything wrong, they would have addressed it instantly. The podcast was released over month ago. The truth is, black viewers went after them and kept attacking them over it, to the point where they HAD to address it, and apologies for doing nothing wrong. It was all Shultz… James & Fuhad didn’t support anything he said. So now… from here into the future, every time black women are brought up in any way to these guys… it’s going to be an uncomfortable topic… where it never had to be that way. That’s on you and all the people who attacked them for doing something unforgivable even though they didn’t do anything. Congrats. Way to make black women an uncomfortable subject of conversation to even be involved in… because even the slightest slip-up or mistake results in an attack and ‘unsubscribe’ or ‘betrayal’ comments.

Same, tbh I’ve been watching Flagrant for a long time and it used to be much better, hadn’t watched it for a while until SNG came on and I personally couldn’t make it through the episode. It just wasn’t really funny and the boys seemed uncomfortable. Andrew kept bringing it back to race stuff, the typical one off joke here or there used to be funny but he was overdoing it on that episode.
I watched the entire Flagrant interview. There was a point when James actually called Andrew out for being racist. Andrew asked James & Fuhad who was their top 5 celebrity crush or something like that. James said Meg Thee Stallion and Andrew seemed so offended that he named her. And Andrew kept trying to get James to change his answer. James and Fuhad doubled down and called him out. I wish that clip was going viral

People, including the folks criticizing the guys find themselves in situations where in the moment, they don't know how to react to a situation. There's a reason they say that hindsight is 20/20. A lot of the criticism has been excessively harsh with people making unfair assumptions because their hurt. You acknowledged, apologized and leaned from the incident. For some that's not enough because nothing is ever enough for some folks. Keep it pushing.
Yet they still went through with it, knew it was coming out, didn't prepare anything like a statement, etc, before coming out. They are all talk, maybe people will wake up and not listen now.
As Black Brit men, you know how overt the racism in the US is. The first few minutes of Flagrant were unbearable to watch. I understand not everyone handles uncomfortable situations the same, but you have a very large platform made up mostly of a large African diaspora. While an apology was made to the community, an apology should have also been made to Black women, as they are seen as the butt of all jokes. I can only hope that this experience has given you an understanding of who you are, who supports you and what you tolerate and allow. Hopefully next time, you can call out racism immediately and remove yourself from spaces that in turn, make jokes about you, as you are also affected by them.
That's what I thought at first until I saw the rest of the interview " Which Africans are the lazy ones" , that was an actually conversation they took part of, they owe everyone an apology. smh

@@LaliladaAnamina You assumed that I didn't watch the whole video. Right now you are missing the context of my comment which includes knowing and understanding who they are and when to remove themselves from situations that could affect them as this one. Constructive criticism and fake outrage are two different scopes. I am not going to pretend like I know them irl. I am an introvert as well, & as their age mates, we have been conditioned for time to allow certain comments to fly in the name of "jokes" but having a platform like theirs that is made up, especially of Black & African women in 2024, is damaging. Your comment is translating as minimising Black experiences just because Andrew makes jokes at the expense of others. Oh and been a regular viewer of jump.
I couldn't really see them in ANY situation saying ANYTHiNG that would disagree/combat/stop the joke. I honestly don't think they would, no matter who said it. Even before the ATL comments, before flagrant, they have the vibe of "we don't really mess with black women," and this just brought a little more attention to it.
there is going to be a core fan base that accepts the apology that you guys give no matter what because they’re your core fan base. And then they’re gonna be black women like me that are fans of you guys, but aren’t your core fan base that’s going to acknowledge that you guys ignored several things in that apology. it wasn’t just about you guys laughing it wasn’t just about you guys knocking the cameras down. It was about you guys at no point telling him to stop. It’s about James having clips of himself, talking bad about black women that seems to line up with the way Andrew thinks. There is a large conversation that black men need to have about how they get around white men and do not care about protecting the name of black women. saying it won’t happen again doesn’t mean anything because you guys can’t even plainly say exactly what you did wrong which means you still don’t know.
James hasn’t spoken bad about black women he’s only Spoken about the ones that bullied him… they also said in the apology that they told him behind scenes to stop and move on but Andrew of course edit that out…
Y’all saying y’all saw how uncomfortable they was… I didn’t peep it. Not saying y’all gotta get violent xyz, but the same way y’all was laughing … y’all could’ve set a clear boundary with your words.
James can narrate 🔥 The fact that I watched love is blind UK but I could never remember everything like that. It was like watching the show all over again 😍
I have not seen the recent cotroversy, but I remember the episode and the comments under the episode. I couldn't even finish it. Glad the gents took ownership. Accountability is the first step, but corrected behaviour is what matters most 💛.
Initially accepted the apology, then I realized that they should apologize to themselves. It is perfectly ok prefer certain physical attributes in a partner even if those attributes are not found within your own race but to let someone speak ill of your people is actually disrespecting yourself. We have a saying here, Mwacha mila ni mtumwa. Loosely translates, "He/ she who abandons his/ her culture/ people is a slave". Dating outside your race is ok, but forgetting who you are is not. Andrew would not let any light shine on black people, he talked about Nigerians with Fuhad sitting right there, they brought up the black wife effect and he would not have it. I'll say to them what they once said to someone "You don't respect yourselves so how can I respect you".
Actions speak louder than words. Notice they say our community and nothing about blk wm, who were the targets. The actions show we are again an afterthought. 💔
@asyaseraphin They apologized like children that got caught. A real apology would have been specific. It was blk women they let a white man disparage. So look at the camera and say blk wmn we are sorry. Let us prove we support you. Instead we got a half as apology. One to remind us of the smiles they had to hide when that white man said they preferred white women while putting us down. In 2024 these men don't know when to stand up and walk out. Apparently not when blk wm are being trashed. We are tired, we want a safe space to rest.

They probably won't read this but just in case: As a man, I have a ton of things I said and did that hurt women. Some out of bro-police pressure and some for not caring at the time. Acknowledging you messed up is not enough, you need to show the women you hurt that you know exactly what was wrong with what you did. You need to show that you see and understand what was the harm that was caused. And, in my opinion, the most important thing - YOU NEED TO DO BETTER, SHOW OTHER MEN THAT IT'S NOT OK TO TALK SH*T ABOUT WOMEN. If you want to fix the backlash so much, own it, do the work to be better and show it to us. The only reason I'm still subscribed is to see if you did anything to be better men. If this gets swiped under the rug I won't stay here for long.

While it's commendable that James and Fuhad acknowledged their wrongdoing in the aftermath of the Flagrant podcast controversy, their apology fails to directly center the people most affected by the incident-Black women. The jokes they laughed at perpetuated harmful racial and misogynistic stereotypes, and yet, in their apology, they primarily focused on their own discomfort and shock rather than addressing the harm caused to the Black women who have been instrumental in supporting their podcast’s growth. Black women, who have significantly contributed to the success of the ShxtsNGigs podcast, deserve an apology that prioritizes their feelings and acknowledges the hurt caused specifically to them. It is important to remember that these women have been vocal supporters, often sharing and promoting their content, pushing the podcast into the spotlight. Additionally, this issue isn’t about personal preferences regarding who someone finds attractive. The problem lies in how they allowed a narrative to take shape that erases or diminishes the beauty and diversity of Black women. The comment made during the podcast about Atlanta not having any "baddies" is especially problematic. Atlanta is one of the most diverse Black communities in the United States, with rich representation from not only African Americans, but from across the African diaspora. For them to make a statement like that suggests an erasure of this vibrant diversity, implying a blanket disinterest in Black women. This kind of rhetoric is harmful because it implicitly reinforces the idea that Black women are less desirable, a stereotype that Black women have had to fight against for generations. Here are five key elements that make an apology meaningful, and how James and Fuhad's response falls short in addressing them: 1. Acknowledgment of Harm: An apology should clearly acknowledge the specific harm done. While James and Fuhad admitted to laughing at inappropriate jokes, they did not explicitly address how those jokes reinforced racist and sexist stereotypes targeting Black women. They apologized broadly, but the lack of focus on the impact on Black women weakens the sincerity of their apology. 2. Taking Responsibility: A genuine apology requires taking full responsibility for one's actions. While they acknowledged their passivity, they framed their actions as being a result of shock or discomfort, thus partially excusing themselves. There was no unequivocal ownership of their failure to stand up against the racist jokes. 3. Expressing Regret: Although regret was expressed, it was overshadowed by their emphasis on how uncomfortable they felt during the interview. A proper apology would have emphasized how deeply they regret letting down their Black listeners, rather than centering their own experience. 4. Commitment to Change: While they did state that they "won't let this happen again," they failed to articulate specific actions they will take to prevent similar situations in the future. A meaningful apology should include a clear plan for growth, such as educating themselves on the impact of racial and gender-based stereotypes or refusing to engage with individuals who perpetuate such harmful rhetoric. 5. Restitution: In a proper apology, there is often an element of making amends. James and Fuhad should have addressed what they will do to repair the trust they have broken with their Black female audience. This could involve highlighting and supporting content creators or causes that uplift Black women. Moreover, James and Fuhad should have been prepared for this type of situation when appearing on Flagrant. Andrew Schulz is known for his racially charged and misogynistic humor, particularly towards Black women(theJasmineBRAND). His history of making offensive jokes should have signaled to them that such behavior could arise during the interview. By not being ready to challenge these remarks, they tacitly allowed harmful stereotypes to be perpetuated. In essence, the duo’s passive response enabled Schulz’s offensive remarks, and their apology failed to adequately address the damage caused. To truly make amends, James and Fuhad must do more than just acknowledge their discomfort-they must directly engage with and uplift the community they’ve hurt. Without centering Black women in their apology, their words remain incomplete.
Thank you for eloquently commenting. There will be those that will try to dismiss the issue as “ it not being that deep” and honestly I’m willing to bet that their PR person or those around them didn’t explain how and why they should’ve handled the situation the way that you did.
All of this. I was coming to make this exact statement. You don't center the community in your apology. Andrew was specific to name black women in his commentary. The apology should specifically address black women.
I knew there was something up with that feature you guys did ... I couldn't even continue watching it, and I've watched every single feature you guys have done. Im glad I wasn't the only one who noticed and im glad the daddies addressed it.

I could not watch the entire podcast with flagrant. But I still love you guys!
Flagrant used to be so good and genuinely funny, feels like Andrew just got way too edgey over the past couple of years. Episodes when he’s not on and it’s just the rest of guys are typically better
Andrew was SO out of line! He was being racist towards Fuhad and James and you could tell they were so uncomfortable.
Not gonna hold you, the apology was weak lmaoo
it was STRONG AS F*CK from a PR perspective but from a personal one, you can tell you guys just wanted to get through it, you didn't really dive into what was messed up about the situation fr just sorry, please don't stop our bag.
"Please don't stop our bag." YUP!

Yes it's the one place I thought we could come together without the diaspora wars but atp they need a better apology with action then I'll believe then
Correct the behavior and keep it going. We can only learn from our mistakes
The thing that does not sit right with me is: The segment of the show was recorded weeks ago, you and your team should have been in front of this! It feels ingenuine, looking at your feet, being "shocked" weeks after the fact... and during the backlash. You need a apology tour do-over. X from The Netherlands.
Maybe contract was signed
That contract didnt stop the apology tour...

Right. These comments eating this up makes me sick.
You are going way over the top, it’s simply comedy if you take it and are easily offended don’t watch it
They’re literally both black?
Appreciate yall addressing things at the top still left a lot to be desired. As a Black woman, and knowing how many Black women support you as evidenced by how we showed up to your DC shows, the apology could’ve been a lot more forceful and sincere. It sort of just checked the minimum boxes. And didn’t mention us specifically despite us being the most hurt in the situation.
That part. And then ending it with “anyway”
This should have been a separate video, not sandwiched within a monetized video.

As a man, I have a ton of things I said and did that hurt women.

Im glad this was you guys response to this incident. It felt genuine. Im glad you all didn’t try and sweep this under the rug. Thank you for your love & support for those who want you guys to win. ❤❤❤
Here are five key elements that make an apology meaningful, and how James and Fuhad's response falls short in addressing them:
Time on your hands.😟
Who’s reading all this? 😢
I read it and very articulate. 👏🏾
