Ok, I found the other videos. It was the same season, and he did win the final episode and show. But Grassland was the episode before the final, and everyone was shocked when he didn't win. Even Zhou Shen and Wangxi were surprised. They were good, but nothing like this. The look on Ayunga's face… I get the feeling it isn't easy being an ethnic-Mongolian performer in China. Wait… was Ayunga on Super Vocal for 2 seasons? He won the show and went on Singer with several of the other top 6 winners. I think he won Super Vocal with a Mongolian song. It wasn't this one? I don't know about the teams, but I saw the final episode.
Ayanga won the first principal position in the finale but Zheng Yunlong ended up winning Super Vocal. Both amazing performers and, of course, both good friends.

Ayanga is a Mongolian opera and theater singer. He very famous in China and other Asian countries. He participated in the "super vocal" contest but it is not clear to me that this presentation corresponds to that contest.
He won the whole show, but not this episode. I've also seen him singing Tengger's "Heaven." Yes, they're both ethnic Mongolian and, from what I can tell, their names have 3 syllables: A Yun Ga and Ten Ger Ar (but he's usually called Tengger or Tengri.) They aren't from the independent country of Mongolia, they're from the part that was invaded by China, which China calls Inner Mongolia. They're considered ethnic-Mongolian Chinese people. But these music and singing styles are older than the Chinese takeover, and Ayunga is proud of his Mongolian culture and people. (History lesson is over.🤣)

Really cool performance. After reading in your description about what this song is about, I really wish these songs had the translations. I am really big on lyrics and it would be nice to know what words he is using. But, the performance was really really good. I've been spending most of my time over in the Scandinavian countries lately with music. I don't have much knowledge of Chinese music (or Mongolian) Very cool. Really cool performance. After reading in your description about what this song is about, I really wish these songs had the translations. I am really big on lyrics and it would be nice to know what words he is using. But, the performance was really really good. I've been spending most of my time over in the Scandinavian countries lately with music. I don't have much knowledge of Chinese music (or Mongolian) Very cool. Well, at least I know what the song is about though.

I watched a final episode of Super Vocal with English subtitles, and I think this was Ayunga's performance. Dimash was a guest judge. I don't remember if the songs were subtitled, but the dialogue was.
