You can apply upto one year before the expiry of visa. You just need to fill DS 160 and take appointment. You need following documents only for renewal

Is my understanding is correct? As per the confirmation letter, i can submit the document in any of the 5 VAC or Paid drop off locations irrespective of the selected location of the appointment!!

Hi, I have B1/B2 visa is that is going to expire soon. It was initially rejected but in same month it was approved. Also, My employer applied for L1B in 2016-2017 which was rejected. My question is that Do I qualify for Interview waiver for B1/B2 renewal?
@@user-zn1lb7zf8b it is difficult to say you will only know about waiver after you have filled ds 160 paid the fee and start the process to book appointment.

You don’t have to give an interview if you are eligible for interview waiver. You have to mention the countries you have visited in last ten years in DS 160 form. Thanks
Very nice information. My B1/B2 visa will expire in Aug 2025. I visited US only once in 2016 for official purposes for a month. I dont have any plans to visit US in near future but do you suggest I apply for renewal in the next 2-3 months itself a year before expiration? I just want to reap the benefit of interview waiver at the earliest before either it gets tough or whatsoever. Kindly advise.
