Sir, some errors are there in this video. For calculating design wind speed ,k2 taken as 0.98. but in code for category 2 building (ht. 10m) it is 1. interpolation values are correct but the explanation is wrong. also error in the wind speed calculation. some terms from codes are not mentioned.
Gokul S It’s not about negative value. In windward side wind force directly hit the member and the member is in inclined portion then we resolve force. Then DL+LL acts vertically downwards. By mistake I said it was negative value. Thank you so much for watching my video and thanks for asking.
