In this episode, I discuss the person of Evagrius Ponticus, his ascetic/monastic trilogy known as the Praktikos, Gnostikos, and the Kephalaia Gnostica, as well as his complex legacy in the Christian tradition, with the group of scholars who have just provided the first English translation of the trilogy: Luke Dysinger, Robin Darling Young, Columba Stewart, Joel Kalvesmaki, and Charles Stang.
