- So much to love, so much to learn! Venice, Florida is not just the largest antique and vintage show on the Gulf Coast, it’s also a grand collection of some of the best antiques and most valuable vintage objects and knowledge base of any antique show we’ve seen.
This extensive walkabout takes us through time, revealing the objects of an era when stunning royalty silver, early typewriter technology and fun frolics like skittles and oilcloth folk dolls were part of people’s lives…and are ready to be part of a new collector’s treasury! A space filled with Art Nouveau and Art Deco figurines and personal items, a stand filled with Lucite purse eleganza and a corner filled with antiquarian books offer so many delights for serious lovers of antiques and vintage items.
But as much as the items tantalize us, so does the knowledge shared by the professional dealers who love talking about their terrific specialties! How did women’s curling irons change technology? What makes these MCM pottery and glass pieces so special? Why is that 1970s pant suit so fantastically styled? The answers to all this and so much more are given freely by the antique mavens selling here, and we even see a demonstration of a $20,000 machine that defies the Chinese efforts to pass off fake gold in the American market.
From surprising pieces of Haeger and Danish pottery to an amazing French horse racing carousel, this show has examples of so many things we’ve just never seen anywhere else! There’s no telling what will appear at the next edition of the incredible Venice Antique Show, coming in January 2025.

I love the videos where you are just blown away by things you have never seen before. ☺ It really shows us that there is so much out there to discover and see. I just love it all! 😁 I think it's great that you can still be wowed and learn something new. ❤
Hi George, What a fantastic show! So many unusual items. Such great prices too. Thanks for taking us along.
Great show! My wedding china is Rosenthal, over 40 years old. I can't resist picking up Rosenthal whenever I find it at a thrift store. Thanks for sharing.
What an amazing show. I loved the old toys and of course the wonderful vintage dolls! Thanks for sharing with us! ❤
Wow! Incredible place! I still have my Glamour Magazine purse! Love those old typewriters! Very cool!
Everyone should watch this at least once!! So interesting&informative&fun!!! Thank you so much!!!
Just WOW. What a wonderful group of very nice people. I enjoyed hearing from them all, maybe especially the toy/doll lady with the skittles and the unusual mix of fantastic pottery dealer. Thank you, George.
Great to see my friend Thor featured w/his typewriters etc. I’ll see him next week @ Mt Dora! Wendy
Hit the like button! Great video such a professional.
So many toys...so little time....🛻 Oh! and the Deco🤩
Good evening, George. That French horse race game was really cool. I really liked that wash basin set. Never seen one like that. The Danish cup, with the fish on it, was really interesting and nice. I'm not much a fan of slag glass, but Geez! those lamps were fantastic! There was a fleam, in the case with the railroad keys, that caught my eye. I'd like to have one of those. Those books would keep me occupied for quite some time. That bronze statuette, from the 1890s, is definitely my style. I liked the fish that was in the case with the Kewpies. The Hubley racing car seemed priced really well...actually kind of cheap. I liked the coal oil curling iron. There were tons of interesting items there, and the prices seemed quite fair. Thanks for taking us along!
My car too, George 😂 27:10
Love your humor! Always learn so much with your vids 😊👍
The first booth was breathtaking! This is going to be great to watch.
I love that little couch and the teddy on it, too. 28:20
Hase or haas means hare, not bunny.
Those iron haircurler heaters look like animals. Very decorative. ❣️
George, this was a great show, the lady was very informative about the pottery, especially about the ine that looked like Fracoma, I have started a collection, it's not my favorite, but it is popular in my area. I always learn and enjoy you! Thank you
Hi George, what a terrific tour of some fantastic & rare collectibles!!! I purchased an antique gas curling iron heater years ago, thought it used kerosene, but just saw that it used gas, so interesting, & informative as usual George, thank you so much, I'm an eternal fan!!
Fabulous video. Thanks George
I inherited one of those magazine purses from my Auntie
FANTASTIC!
Thx George!
I bet you're really good at Trivial Pursuit. All the random history facts you know! I got a high school ring from Josten's, too. Hmmmm.....do I need that x-ray machine? Hey.... did you know Nicola Tesla invented the x-ray? Machine, technique? Idk. He claimed it, at least. Loved this one! Chocked full of info.
Cool piece
Hi George! I didn’t get home in time to catch this live!😢
It's live right now I thought. 😢
I find it so hard to find art deco nudes specifically in brass. Some spelter shows up but brass and bronze are really hard to find
Nice chairs
Thank you so much for this amazing video! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Hi, George❤
Sold one af the Sandemans . The Black one
George is there any decorated Rookwood at this show?
Pretty perfumes
Very interesting and entertaining. But the quality of the booth owners' voices was very uneven, sometimes very difficult to hear or understand.
It’s sad that so many auctioneers are not doing live auctions anymore. There is really no reason not to, except convenience.
That’s a great car
George what was that lady you showed a lamp?
I have a small collection of little lead toy animals
That doll would scare any kid.
By George I call dibs fore whatever it is
