Cool stuff isn't it! Don't forget it has memory when baked. Since glass and ceramic can go in the oven, you could put your raw tiles on the vases and bake them. Then they will be the perfect shape to glue on. Another thing you might want to play with is making little rose embellishments to put on tiles. Because the clay flexible, you roll it out super thin and not worry about it breaking. 😁
I need more products like I need a hole in the head, lol! VERY IMPRESSED. I was thinking about doing the clay on vase then bake method just to try it out, I have never done that before. I can't wait to jump into it. It's funny you mention rose embellishments. I did a piece about 6 months ago that was inspired by your work that I used floral appliqués. I'll take a pic and put it in my friends and share group on FB, are you a member there yet?
@@MollyYoung-artist - Yes I follow you on FB. 😁 However I think you have me confused with the other Robin, I haven't shared any of my pieces online except for a couple of my first attempts at clay to show newbies that it's perfectly normal to have your first few pieces look like manure. 😂
Not sure about that. I am so brand new to it I have not tried yet. Part of me thinks it might mix up the polymer. I'll try a small sample for one of my upcoming videos!
Wow! yes game changer! so many ideas so much to learn!!
