He has the choice of 2 QB's that can make it happen - Simpson and Mack - the Frosh needs a year. You guys are discounting Austin Mack. He has ran Deborer's system now for 2 years has the physical traits of a prototype QB in this system and has a gun for an arm. We will see what happens in spring but it will be close.
We have a VERY GOOD passing qb, recievers. Bama needs to find O and D lines. The person who said you have to run in order to pass is dead on and thats the season.
Also, the offense will be better because of the offensive line and new qb no matter who it winds up being. I liked Milroe, but he should have been on the bench several times this season. Also, any of the three qb's we have now can play the offense better.

Milroe’s biggest weakness was not being able to quickly read the field and get the ball to the right receiver. I think Alabama likely already has their QB but will use NIL in targeted way for 1 or 2 players if necessary. Jeremiah Smith was #1 and Ryan Williams #1A. He will be fantastic next year.
I think you’re in good or maybe great shape at WR, that shot be the least of your concerns. TE, RB could use upgrade. If your Receivers and TE excel but OL & RBs don’t, then use The Pass to open up the Run. Ohio State did that in CFP.
Only thing they need to focus on in the portal is offensive lineman period & hire a solid OC who isn’t going to leave in the middle of the season. Am I asking for too much?
Bama could easily be ranked 5th or 6th in the SEC. Behind Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina. Then you got Bama and LSU. LSU has a returning starter at QB. So technically we’re behind LSU. so I’d say 12-16 is accurate. RTR
