Oh my god what a wonderful job you did on her upper denture.I just bought a new lower denture and the only way i can wear it is to line it with cushion grip.what a waste of 950.00.
I want to become a dental technician / denturist so bad! It’s my dream career. Unfortunately I live in Calgary and the closest program is NAIT up in Edmonton but hopefully becoming an RDA will open the doors I need to get into a lab.
You can save time and trimming by using the lower half of the flask as your base former and pour and invest in one move. One of my accounts referred this video to me wondering if we did our relines this way. Except for the above tip, it's exactly how we do it.
All they do in my office is mix the soft refined material in the loose denture and let it set in the pts mouth then once set just slice off the excess and its done
I'm a dental tech.for 47 years.Why do you keep adding more acylic after each trial pack when you have more than enough excess after the first pack.I use the same technique when doing a rebase except I grind 90% of the acrylic off to replace it with new.For relines I use a jig.Works great.The impression looked very good.
Hello sorry I'm a bit late but it's a composite filling material and they can use those bright blue UV lights to cure it and change the color to match the teeth or gums

I never saw them due this at Aspen. It makes total sense you have to line the center of your face and lip line.

The reline sucks too they should make better dentures...
More than 2 hours for 1 reline. Not worth it
