Honestly I like it, it connects him more to Shadow. Think about it. Both were born and raised on the Ark with little knowledge of the world below. Both were very close to Maria, seeing her as a sister figure of sorts. Both had a disliking for the Black Arms. Both had everything taken from them in the ARK Raid (Abe’s Family, Shadow’s Freedom, both Maria). Both were then sent down to Earth suddenly, into a world neither was familiar with. Both were originally driven by revenge before coming to their senses. Really hope we get to see Shadow and Abe interact more in the future
