Once again a useful tip. Have had this problem for long, Will apply the fix next time.
Thanks too for defining what TransparencyEdge is. It could be useful one day.

@@poseranddazstudiofunhouse6153 The least I can do. I don't understand why so have so few views. This is the only Poser channel I know and you give real hints on stuff I have no clue about.

@@laurentyarp514 I guess I joined the party too late. Or maybe Poser users are not interested or have not discovered me.
So long as a few people find my content useful, I'm happy to share the knowledge, and I am learning from you guys at the same time.

@@poseranddazstudiofunhouse6153 I guess many have not find your channel. You could post in Renderosity forum or put some tutorials there so that people know about you.
But it is a fact Poser has been much more popular in the 2000s than it is now. DS is the software many people have heard of.I am also following some DS channels and they have something like several ks views per video.

Have you tried using the Physical node for Superfly rendering and observed the difference between it and the PoserSurface node? I prefer to use the PBR nodes for Superfly because there are too many variables to consider when using the original PoserSurface node. My aim in using Superfly rendering is to simulate real-world behavior and interaction which is severely lacking in the legacy nodes.

That's a good question. Yes, it does work with the physical surface node. My intention was to make the fix require as little changes as possible given that a scene may include dozen or hundreds of uniquely textured objects to fix, and building a new root node, while not complicated, increases the effort considerably.
