MrKennyCakemouth Majority's on my side. That immature elephant faced moron ruined one of my favourite shows. Although I'll admit, Moffat did a fair amount of damage himself.
Thank you Gavin. I shouted aloud to myself when you agreed that Firefight was much more amazing in ODST. It just had such an astonishing amount of fun in it. My friends and I still, to this day, get together and go 13-20 sets on Legendary.
As a posed to a plot full of holes?!? Avengers you know what you're getting since we saw the formula in 5 movies before it (dumb fun). Rises was a slap in the face, shit was horrible, but looked good.
I love how Ray doesn't give a shout out to the fan who sent in beer for the RT crew to enjoy but does give a shout out to the guy who made a Minecraft, Team Fortress mod which they haven't played at all.
I'd love to debate Gavin on gun laws. As much as I like him as a person, he has no fucking clue what he's talking about, and needs to realize using tragedies to try and push an emotion-driven agenda is ridiculous and just plain wrong. He doesn't realize it, but he's standing on the graves of young children to push a statist agenda.
I agree with you except on that last part, or at least dont see the relevance. Plenty of worthy causes are taken up because of some tragedy catalyst. I mean, you wouldnt criticize a nuclear power company for making safer plants because of Chernobyl even if they got a bigger cut of tax money. Again, I do lean towards more gun freedom.
***** It really isn't. If a family protested against a war because they lost a family member in it, there'd be nothing wrong with that. People want to stop bad things when bad things are happening. Sure, maybe some political party bigwigs only care about making their party look better by doing things similar to what Gavin is and don't actually believe what they're doing is right... but you shouldn't attribute that to citizens who are trying to help in the way they see fit even if it could logically be seen as the wrong way to go about the issue. Convince them otherwise, don't demonize them.
I love roosterteeth but really? They pick Halo 4 as game of the year? I respect their opinion but there were way better games in 2012 I enjoy halo 4 but its not game of the year material its a simple to play FPS
halo 4 DID have an amazing story 343 industries did a good job of that. however, i would agree with you that it probably shouldn't get the game of the year (huge halo fan btw).
MrKennyCakemouth I agree. Matt Smith had even said that once he was given the role, he was incredibly excited, and watched trough the entire classic series and really did his research and became a fan. And besides, not growing up with the show doens't mean you're not going to be an amazing Doctor, if anything that means we're going to get a fresh perspective on the Doctor, and not some rehashed version of one guy's favorite doctor. And honestly most of the classic Doctors hardly knew anything about the show until they were given the role themselves, and they all did fantastic jobs, each with their own personality
Ray is totally right on jobs in the media business. You can spend your money on college or you can produce content and get yourself out there, and get people to know you
yeah mine actually jumped into a wood chipper and died. granted, i did put tuna fish in the wood chipper, and i did turn it on, but yeah i cant seem to keep my cats alive
The conversation they had at 43:54 was exactly how i felt for the ghost recon future soldier teailers, because all of them were badass looking levels, and you couldnt play any of them.
Hey RoosterTeeth, at 1:20:00 and on, when your talking about rolercoasters and that their's one coaster you should try and it's called Kingda Ka. A steel accelerator roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. As far as I know it is the world's tallest roller coaster, the world's second fastest roller coaster, and was the second strata coaster ever built. Kingda Ka is a beast of a coaster. It's a great thrill ride.
I don't know if Rooster Teeth includes BBC in their TV show judging, but Sherlock (with Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch) was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time..
no problem, and u do have a really good point there it isnt really matts fault, its the show itself that has to change a little bit in order to bring in a broader audience. but either way, nice chat lol
I've always thought I was a crappy gamer but knowing that I was able to not only understand the Psi-lab description but immediately activate it as well makes me feel... well, at least superior in terms of reading instructions XD
Oh yeah. Completely agree with Gavin. I've never really watched Doctor Who and my first episode was the weeping angels one. Really good. Still the best till now.
Thank you for respecting my opinion, I really appreciate it. I know a lot of people don't like the direction DW is taking, but I really don't think it's matt smith's fault. Like, I don't think an actor has that much power over how the show is written. But I guess this is just a conflict of interests, I like him as the doctor and you don't and that's okay. Thanks for being civil! I wish more people online were.
i am 16 and i have been gaming for 9 years now but only properly for 7 years and i agree with jack this is the best year of gaming ever and i grew up during halo 1 and 2 times and they were amazing
Funny how they actually took the idea about the "Mile High Club" achievement race, and made "GO!" almost a year later. I wonder if Gav and Geoff had that in mind..
Holy fuck, when Gavin was about to say the only episode of doctor who you should watch, I was think the weeping angels. This is because that was the only one I had ever seen. It's a fucking awesome episode
Also I agree with Gavin on the Doctor Who stuff. David Tennant was my favorite Doctor and I think the best Doctor Who episodes are Blink (The first Weeping Angels episode) and (even though it's with the 11th Doctor) I like Vincent and the Doctor a lot. It might be because I'm an artist though but that episode makes me cry at the end.
CattGale I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with Gavin...Just because Smith didn't grow up watching the series doesn't mean he shouldn't be on the show, nor does it mean he wouldn't be a wonderful Doctor. Almost all of the classic Doctors had never heard or watched the show before they were asked to take the role, and they all had a fresh new perspective on the Doctor's character. I felt Tennant's doctor was horribly inconsistent throughout his run, and unfortunately subject to RTD's awful attempts at science fiction writing. Smith picked up immediately on the character of the Doctor while bringing his own perspective to the role. He (as well as Moffat) understood that the Doctor is not supposed to relate to humans, and he's so fascinated by humanity because he doesn't quite understand it. The Doctor is meant to do things that human's wouldn't normally do, or make decisions that no human could make, alienating him from the rest of the world he loves so much. In Tennant's run, i always felt like he acted like a human with a time machine (Perhaps RTD's attempt at getting us to relate to the Doctor, which goes against the whole point of the Doctor's character).
I'll be honest, Mass Effect 3 made me cry a little. Not the ending (that just pissed me off) but when squad mates I just spent 3 games building relations with get killed no matter what you do.
I'm pro gun. Madmen will go nuts, that can't be helped. People can and have made firearms at home in history. In Israel, in Ireland, there's even videos on youtube of people making home made firearms in the US. Criminals don't care what's illegal, so bans/restrictions only punish those who obey the law. Then there's Switzerland which has a LARGE amount of modern military assault rifles as well as standard capacity 30-rnd mags in the hands of civilians, while maintaining a low crime rate. Facts.
Love coming back and watching old episodes
Especially now
Ray is a real man for crying at video games. The realest you can fucking get.
Going through all the podcasts again and glad to see one with Ray :3 Loving his twitch streams, even though I watch the youtube uploads :P
Ive never played Halo 1 or 4 before but I could watch them talk about it all day.
You have to play it
This is my favorite out of all the podcasts
Just one more podcast, just one more podcast, just one more podcast, just one more podcast, just one more podcast...
And then it's 5am and you need to sleep.
Dylan H Yup.
@@roachdoggjr4626 and then it's 5 years later..
@@EwChris then it’s 10 years later…
ray, jack, gus and gavin are one of the best podcast crews we just need like burnie, geof or michael to make it perfect
Geoff has one of the best laughs in the company, but Jack's is definitely up there as my second, makes any funny story 10 times funnier.
one of the best outro songs
Conversation starting at 13:30 the video Gus is talking about is a girl dancing to hare hare yukai the ending for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
I...just...
Ray. :)
"I like seeing people in real life" -Gavin Free
never ever insult Matt Smith again
He was awful.
Good point
Guy Rodger no, no he wasn't
MrKennyCakemouth Majority's on my side. That immature elephant faced moron ruined one of my favourite shows. Although I'll admit, Moffat did a fair amount of damage himself.
Guy Rodger wow you really think the majority is on your side? you ignorant little thing.
I spent my new years drinking Ruble vodka and re-watching some Rooster Teeth podcasts.
i love their drunk stories, they're just hilarious
RAY AND I BOTH. FINAL FANTASY 10.
Yo I just finished FFX for the first time, I cried too. Great game! Anyway shout-out to you 10 years ago
I agree Gavin. Blink was awesome.
“No one cares about kids”
Jack: I care about my nephew
“Yeah You care about that kid cuz you know him!”
What?? Lmao
all rays answers are the best make more of him plz
Thank you Gavin. I shouted aloud to myself when you agreed that Firefight was much more amazing in ODST. It just had such an astonishing amount of fun in it. My friends and I still, to this day, get together and go 13-20 sets on Legendary.
I'm glad I finished final fantasy ten before I watched this
did you finish the after game material?
Yeah man. I perfected the game
Ray
I liked the dark knight rises way better than The Avengers. It just seems the avengers had no plot at all and The dark Knight rises did.
As a posed to a plot full of holes?!? Avengers you know what you're getting since we saw the formula in 5 movies before it (dumb fun). Rises was a slap in the face, shit was horrible, but looked good.
@ 19:52 When Jack called Gavin a dumbass, did that remind anyone else of Red from That's 70 Show
Yeah, you can download the audio version on iTunes. They release the video version a week-ish after the audio one.
How many people searched "shitty music" after Gus mentioned it?
Alex Jones me. Couldind find the aforementioned pasties girl dancing. Now i need that link lol.
there is an even new doctor
Doctor Who sucks.
shut up
MutteringMushroom
Doctor Who sucks and you suck
I love that they're starting to feature Ray regularly :) Love this brown guy!
I love how Ray doesn't give a shout out to the fan who sent in beer for the RT crew to enjoy but does give a shout out to the guy who made a Minecraft, Team Fortress mod which they haven't played at all.

I agree with you but I think they picked it because it was significant to their company.
halo 4 DID have an amazing story 343 industries did a good job of that. however, i would agree with you that it probably shouldn't get the game of the year (huge halo fan btw).
painful hearing gavin and jack talking about doctor who when not knowing much about it and bad mouthing matt smith
12-26-12: Gavin Free is officially banished from Britain
MrKennyCakemouth I agree. Matt Smith had even said that once he was given the role, he was incredibly excited, and watched trough the entire classic series and really did his research and became a fan. MrKennyCakemouth Doctor Who is garbage
Geoff, Michael, Gavin, Joel and Burnie = best podcast in history!!!!!!
"December 26" gotta love Ray
Lets boycotte this episode becuase they never gave joe a vote.
LOL Jack! 29:15 Ghostbusters 2 reference. Well played!
Ray is totally right on jobs in the media business. You can spend your money on college or you can produce content and get yourself out there, and get people to know you
I'm still playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown while rewatching these podcasts. I love that game =D
+ILuvKonata XCOM is the best game to listen to podcasts in the background, period.
Jack: "I have a heart, Gavin, unlike you."
Gavin: "Yeah, well, I'm working on it."
Gavin has a habit of saying inadvertently sad things.
I love Gavin, he represents the thoughts of everyone else in the world towards America and their policies.
I love how Gus just looks like your typical nerd but he's one of the funniest people at Rooster Teeth.
Silver lining playbook was actually an amazing movie. i know this is a week after they did this, but it is still worth watching.
I'm not even mad, I can just imagine some dedicated fan seeing Gus drinking his beer and just waiting for Rays approval just to be rejected
Love the Drunk tank song at the end!
always hated going to the wellington planetarium when i was a kid, that place sucks dick. glad to see Gus has the same feeling
I love Joe because every time I've had a cat they never stick around, they're always jumping on stuff and wandering around my house.
yeah mine actually jumped into a wood chipper and died. granted, i did put tuna fish in the wood chipper, and i did turn it on, but yeah i cant seem to keep my cats alive
Yes!! SethBling getting recognized on RT Podcast. I love that they mentioned his TF2 map because I loved those videos he made of it.
Yeah because those alternate endings are amazing!
i liked the video for the "did you major in princes" pun. hahah it got me.
The conversation they had at 43:54 was exactly how i felt for the ghost recon future soldier teailers, because all of them were badass looking levels, and you couldnt play any of them.
1:35:00 start of VS idea for episode 37. wow it took a while.
I rode Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point and it goes from 0-120mph in 3.4 seconds. It's one of the most thrilling rides I've ever been on!
holy shit..
Every time I go to cedar point I want to go on the dragster but it is a 2.5 hour wait every time

fav podcast so far
I love doing a straight face in the photos they are hilarious
The weirdest thing just happened. When there was a siren on the podcast an ambulance drove past me at the exact same time
I don't know if Rooster Teeth includes BBC in their TV show judging, but Sherlock (with Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch) was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time..
no problem, and u do have a really good point there it isnt really matts fault, its the show itself that has to change a little bit in order to bring in a broader audience. but either way, nice chat lol

Aw, I have a beard like Jack's in this podcast and my wife absolutely loves it.
Gavin won that RPS with style like a true britishman. I am impressed.
Omg Lindsay made me burst in laughter during the credits for some reason xD
Oh yeah. Completely agree with Gavin. I've never really watched Doctor Who and my first episode was the weeping angels one. Really good. Still the best till now.
I have more respect for gavin knowing that he has seen and really liked Doctor Who with david tennant
I love when everybody tries to figure out the American equivalent of the English word that Gavin says, makes me feel smarter.
Thank you for respecting my opinion, I really appreciate it. I know a lot of people don't like the direction DW is taking, but I really don't think it's matt smith's fault. i appreciate gavin sitting in burnie's chair bc there are more close ups of his face
Jacks beard is awesome. So are Ray and Gavin
I love that Psy came out with Gentleman after this
I love Jack's YOLO shirt.
Ray
seniorgrocco Yeah I know it was a play on the joke at the beginning of the video. Unless you knew!
xSylverByrdx Ray's beard is fancy, isn't it?! ;)
ILikeOrangez
Jack, your beard is fantastic!
Even though the ending was a bit controversial the game as a whole is absolutely phenomenal.
The rocking roller coaster is such a fun ride
i am 16 and i have been gaming for 9 years now but only properly for 7 years and i agree with jack this is the best year of gaming ever and i grew up during halo 1 and 2 times and they were amazing
Ray has so much swag.
Funny how they actually took the idea about the "Mile High Club" achievement race, and made "GO!" almost a year later. I wonder if Gav and Geoff had that in mind..
Gavins rock paper scissors was the absolute best...
Holy fuck, when Gavin was about to say the only episode of doctor who you should watch, I was think the weeping angels. This is because that was the only one I had ever seen. It's a fucking awesome episode
Shoutout to Ray from Detroit.
I've been subed to RT for soooo long I remember when Jack had a short beard
Also I agree with Gavin on the Doctor Who stuff. .... In efforts to avoid an online argument I'll just simply state I disagree with you as my own strong personal opinion.
CattGale Capaldi rules all.
i heard the sirens on this and thought they were outside going by lol
Gavin shares my opinion about Doctor Who: He doesn't like Matt Smith and recommends "Blink" OMG I love this guy
I'll be honest, Mass Effect 3 made me cry a little. Not the ending (that just pissed me off) but when squad mates I just spent 3 games building relations with get killed no matter what you do.
I'm sure this has been suggested, but why don't you guys use cloud storage for Achievement City?
we should have a podcast with all the ladies!
Joe is the best cat on planet earth
I'll never forget the end of the Walking Dead. I cried. I'm with ya Ray.
Isn't that the bakery in "The Redding Terminal Market". I don't know if its the same thing.
Just curious what's with the Jack and imdb joke?
Mr0000019 It's a running joke when jack looked up something on imdb I'm not sure which podcast he did that start.
I just realized, Ray is great at making acronyms.
thiers a audio version?
i wanted to hear the rest of the song at the end what about ray and gav?
He's got that sassy-cat kinda thing goin' on. He's so grumpy it's cute

I accidently added this link as a source for a project and after my teacher checked it out he gave me an extra 5 points on the assignment lol
As for the waking up thing, I have to get up at 6:30 in weekdays and I usually wake up at 2 pm on weekends
Lol the song at the end
Pls make a full version of the outright song
