  • Note reading practice made easy by playing along with Minuet 1 from Suzuki Book 1 with fingerings and bowings from the Suzuki revised editions, in SLOW tempo so you can play along more easily!
Thank you Violy App for creating this synchronized video!
If you dont have strips on your own bow it can be helpful to put some on, or use chalk to divide the bow into four even parts so that you can copy a precise bow distribution:-)
A video like this can be very helpful, but remember that it can never replace your teacher. Please always follow your teachers advice, as even within the Suzuki program, the teachers playing and instruction can vary slightly from one another and this should by no means confuse you! Always confirm with your teacher as he/she knows how to help you best!

Hi ! Is thete anyway that you can post the notes in English Alohabets so that those who cannot read notes can play along. We find your videos very helpful with my 6 year old. Thank You ! Thank You

Hi there! Unfotunately not... 6 year old children also learn best by imitating adults - so you can find the video for the Minuet (and all pieces in Suzuki Book 1 -5) in slow practice tempo, and your child can watch, imitate and play along:-) Wishing you all the best!

Sorry, beginner question here: at the start of part2, the E after B is clearly labeled as finger 4, and you seem to play open E instead?

Hm, I am afraid that the company that made these videos for me were sloppy in their work. It should be an open string. I think you are reffering to the E before the triplets, correct? That should be an open string. Sorry for the confusion and wishing you all the best for your practice!
