    i'm an INTJ but i really don't want to be involved with science or technology. The easiest way for me to share my emotion is through movement (dance). Very good description

    Yeah INTJ's are no good at small talk because they live in the future/heads. This is a big problem because they jump the gun on projects and relationships. On the positive side they know instantly what they want. On the negative side this makes them appear nuts to less aware types and often backfires. So the biggest way this effects them is probably in relationships, when they know they love someone instantly, but they don't understand the social ritual of building rapport instead of going of gut instinct. They just blurt out their feelings in five minutes, instead of pacing themselves and getting to know a person more closely because their intuition is so strong, they know what they know and who they love even if it's years before the other person has the same Revelation, but they don't understand they should take a slower approach. They see the finish line i guess, but not necessarily the trail they have to run to get there. Then the reverse of that, is they learn from their mistakes of prematurely sharing their feelings causing them to rarely share them again. The INTJ is a very odd personality.

      +Kay Loven As an INTJ I would like that in a relationship the other person find by herself how the social rituals are what make all the failing relationships we have in our society, but the problem is that most people are too attached to the comfort they think they have with those social rituals. I pretty know that I wait in vain for people to change and maybe if I fall for another INTJ I would find my needs.

      True, but any INTJ worth their weight will learn from mistakes and learn to court and do all of the normal things that non-weirdo’s like us do.

    I've never met another INTJ through the avenue of close personal/conversational contact. Perhaps on the street as a passerby; but I had no idea that our personality type was such a rarity. I would thoroughly enjoy a good discussion with a fellow INTJ; to sit down and extract a few ideas, and then go about systematically dissecting them in the pursuit of value. Fun fun. Although, unless I know what I'm talking about, I don't talk in any other manner but grunting.

      Then you will play your life, if you're proud of your incapable talent.
      It's good to know what people may be like, but will you all ever desire to change
      to something more giving, with your flaws exposed? :/ :)

    A question I've been asking all my life (not so much of others, but of myself) is; Why am I me, and not you?
    Most people whom I've asked this will say it's a stupid question, stupid it may be to them, but in reality I've noticed there are two possibilities for their response;
    1) They are too stupid to answer the question themselves.
    2) The nature of the question is "too deep" for them to grasp.
    No "collective consciousness" mambo replies please. :)

      +Christian Fundamentalist my best answer to this after thinking about it for awhile is that, on different levels, I am you and you are me. But, before that, the philosopher David Hume was a skeptic about personal identity or a unified self or "I" that endures throughout time. (I.e., even you may not be you as you go through time.) What I was trying to say in the first sentence is that, from a cellular point, I am guessing that all living beings share some common ancestor or cellular node, so to speak. Even if that's not true, apparently everything is star dust anyways. There is a book called My Stroke of Insight where the author recalls her experience having a stroke on the left side of her brain and how her right side took over and her whole experience of reality, including logical concepts like identity and separation, was transformed.

    Have always been seen as cold, "Gestapo" focused, a geek with an agenda.... but I always have left those "assessments" with their "developers" since I was always focused on the process modifications to secure completion before the deadline. Jealousy along with the inability to manipulate me have always been their downfalls. No time... Period!!!
    And... there IS NO MUSHY, CLINGY INSECURE GARBAGE with INTJ... I express emotion through targeted action... *Because Emotions are illogical!!!*

    I'm flipping through INFP, INFJ, and INTJ day to day. Why? After taking tests and receive high/perfect score, myself became INTJ, but when I feel insufficient or in good mood, I become INFP, when I'm with someone I like, i become a counselor INFJ. What's happening to me?

      The dichotomies in Myers Briggs are not exclusive, they highlight proficiencies, when spending time with friends you may find yourself caring more about how they feel.

    • @unlimitedpubes
      @unlimitedpubes 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Don't put yourself in a box. Your type likely isn't fluid and is more about natural inclinations. It allows you to understand yourself and therefore, understand your impact on those around you. Per the video, it's merely a starting point. I recommend taking a real Myers-Briggs (super affordable) and not a garbage Facebook test or "16 personalities". Online pseudo-testing is not only ridiculous and often incorrect but it can lead to a misunderstanding of yourself and as a result, muddy the waters of your id. Don't guess, don't target certain types, and don't use those garbage tests. Take a real one, double check your answers, and be completely honest with yourself. Then you will provide for yourself, opportunity for growth.
