Here's my biggest question about the show, so far; why would Maria divorce her husband, Arturo? So, the best guess I can offer is Maria didn't like the idea of Arturo leaving for Peru

But Arturo may have argued that his skills could be more useful in places where medical care might not be as accessible to the masses as it is here in the U.S.

Even though the official first episode of The Casagrandes was Going Overboard and Walk Don’t Run. I still treat Friended as the series premiere instead.
