Great job! This is the kind of video that definitely lets whoever wants to learn about elevators understand perfectly their basics in a clear, simplified, and well-structured way.
Thank you for this , I’ve just started in the elevator mechanic union and I’m trying to gain some basic knowledge so I do t go in blind. This really helped me, great video !
Oh THIS VIDEO was FABULOUS!!! I Loved the way You drew alot of the information on the screen as You explained all the different ELEVATOR Components. I am REALLY looking forward to Your Next Video-:) Warmly, Kelly
The control panel can be placed beside the top floor of the lift lobby if it's a MRL (machine roomless) one. Typically you can heard the clicking coming from the panel inside on top floor lobby whenever the lift is being used. For the machine room, it will be placed on top if it's using traction system, but placed on the bottom (can be on the bottom floor beside the lift lobby or level below the lowest lift serving floor) if it's using hydraulic instead, like shown on 0:45. Hydraulic might be cheaper to buy but they run less efficent/slower. They are also unable to serve higher than 6/7 floors.
Okay so before the motorized sheave came along, how did people use the counterweight? Do they have to constantly adjust the weight for every cargo/group of people?
Nice information sir ji. Please also tell which company parts are good in lift and that we should use those parts and get them from local lift manufacturers......
Great bro We have 4 lifts in two wings. every alternate days we are facing lift is not working, passengers are stuck, lift is very noisy. Thyssenkrupp lifts are not worthy.
