About the bike loss of grip in front tire, realistically, if you turn like that it would lose grip and leave skid marks. IRL when you are fast in a bike you need to counter steer, turn left to go right, which happens naturally while you lean the bike.
You are somewhat correct, but counter steer just initiates the turn. Not going to write a novel about all that :D I have some old videos of bike physics overhaul mod project that shows how far it can go
Most people don't realize that they turn the opposite way on bikes. It effectively stabilizes the bike by increasing the width cross section of the front tire by turning it
You might enjoy it in the beginning, but lets say its online and your going a couple hundred kmph and then some random player or npc (often npcs) smashes into your car, now you have to call mors mutual insurance for the 7th time this hour
i really like the bodyroll that this mod adds to the vehicles and i like that cars can actually slide and drift realistically however it also looks like it breaks some things, like you mentioned with sports bikes not being able to turn without losing traction which would not be the case irl

Honestly, it dont thank physics is Rockstars main focus, they obviously want it realistic, but they know that the arcade feel of the driving is necessary for there core audience. There main focus is definitely the story an graphics.
personally, i think there should be varying degrees of physics; like an ultra-realistic sim damage and physics mode, and a more arcadey fun-time mode for stunts.
i think it would be great if in gta 6 they had diffrent settings like “gta IV physics” “gta v physics” gta VI physics” and “realistic physics” and make it changeable
dude this is crazy i used to watch your stunt videos as a kid and i was watching this to get an idea of what mods i should implement in my boys custom online maps. small world love your stuff Haz
The problem with GTA IV driving physics is that EVERY car felt heavy and spongy. Driving a lightweight sedan or coupe felt no different that driving a big SUV. I'm ok with SOME of the cars having softer, spongier suspensions with worse braking, like the big SUV's, because I'm probably not going to be driving an SUV to get away from the cops, so it could make just a fun, bouncy ride to drive around in if you're just screwing around. I'm ok with typical sedans/coupes/regular cars not having perfect, arcade like suspension, but they should still be easier to drive than an SUV. Considering that's probably what most in the cars in the game are going to be, those cars should be easier to drive, but not perfect. And of course, sports cars, performance cars, and super cars need to have that arcade style of driving, because that's when you want to go fast. Car damage is fine when its just superficial, and I do think there SHOULD be a point where car damage should affect driveability, but it shouldn't be "one or two accidents and you're screwed". Especially not with how some of the NPC's seem to target you when you're driving. And car upgrades to make even basic cars more driveable would definitely be nice, but for the love of GIlgamesh, either make the upgrades free, cheap, or give us more money, Rockstar.
im not much surprised at the mods that exist to "remaster/evolve" gta5, its very relieving to see the player community take an already near-perfect experience and make it just that much more outstanding! Love for the whole community
I really hope GTA 6 has more realistic physics. DriveV actually looks really good, besides maybe too much damage to cars when crashing and limiting Stunting a bit too much. If they would actually just use DriveV and make some small adjustments like less crash damage and better bike stunt physics, then that would already be significantly better than GTA V.
@@Hazardous What about the PC version? And are you sure that it wont be delayed? I'm gonna be honest and i think that it might be delayed to maybe march 2026 and PC version maybe around september?
Personally, I am hoping that they find a perfect middle ground. I want cars to feel less arcadey, but not simulator levels. I do hope that they make vehicles take more collision damage. Cars in GTA 5 feel like tanks, and very rarely are totaled. If I crash really hard, I want the car to be totaled. But several small collisions shouldn't be an issue. This could be achieved with an exponential damage curve based on mass and velocity between the two entities. Slower speeds deal minimal damage, while faster speeds or larger vehicles cause massive damage.
in terms of physics and handling, especially the suspension and how soft/stiff it feels, i think those should be something players can change themselves per vehicle through the auto shops or garages, would make alot things easier
HELL YEAAAHHHHHHHHH THATS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR

I'm afraid GTA VI will have very arcade physics too. Accessibility, fun, GTA Online. That's why. I really like how the physics look in this mod. Gonna try it sometime!
Over curbs, sign posts, small trees, running over people, there should be minimal damage. Head on collisions with cars, walls, rocks and big trees should wreck it completly. (Having a more realistic style would be in nature, an increase to the skill curve, especially for races, punishing dirty drivers or benifiting smart ones.) Have fuel.(something to do extra) Steering and Driveshaft damage.(Upgradable resistance via workshop) In the event of a catrastophic wreck, where the cabin is damaged, results in player death. And option at the workshop for choosing between manual, and auto tranny.😊
I would like realistic crash physics, where you total your car out rather easily. That would be fun in its own right. It would also encourage better driving all around. Just imagine you’re in a classic GTA police chase, you wipe out, and now you’re on the run for a brief moment while you jack another vehicle. It’s just more adrenaline. I just hope they won’t make your car be totaled forever. It would be cool if you could just recall the car later, and it would be fixed. Like in the case of a personal vehicle. Perhaps with a small in game fee. Something akin to GTA online.
7:31 More realistic physics, yes. But not delayed handling input. It is something that has me really annoyed in GTA IV. U attempt to countersteer but youd have to countersteer before knowing it, so it has an effect, if you know what I mean. I would prefer the physics to be rather cosmetic, like some new off-roaders have it from GTA O. It looks cool. Speed should have a larger impact on turning radius, but I don't think it should be as drastic as it is with DriveV or in GTA IV. It seems a bit too heavy and reducing the fun in speeding through traffic. Different cars should have different weight and downforce, yes.
I used to use Kiddions just to change the torque split in cars to be more realistic to irl counterparts, so many RWD/AWD cars have a weird split by default (penumbra is rwd, all Ballers are 60% fwd)
I would love if they had realistic driving! Maybe not like Gta 4 though, where all cars handle different, but all of them sort of handle bad. Irl, you can definitely predict the car maneuver you'll have to make and do it, but with Gta IV you can't predict crap! Gta IV cars always just handle in a way you don't want it to at even normal speeds! I've been playing BeamNG drive, and I get that it's not a fair comparison, but in BeamNG drive you can actually get the car language especially since it's trying to be as realistic as possible, while in Gta IV there is just no car language to get.
I literally thought about this just the other day! Saw a video of gta 4 and that reminded me of how much I like the more realistic movement of the cars. Something in-between would be awesome, just like in this mod. Especially if the upgrades that you do at mod shops. Like how the better suspension would ma,e it better to drive and armor to make it withstand more impacts. Im surprised you didn't test that
I think that the driving physics will be a mix to bring a little bit of realism to the game while still having a bit of an arcade feel, however the trailer may actually be a pretty accurate way of driving in GTA 6 because for their trailers they take what they already have in the game, capture it and then polish it, so in the flamingo scene for example, in the real game there may be like 10 less of them but were added to the trailer for effect.
I hope we get a bit of a better crash phsysics, a mix of gta v and the Drivev mod. Also that the armoring of vehicule impact the crash physic, making it less potent so upgrading armor is more attractive and useful on normal cars
would be pretty cool if they add an option of getting a realistic driving and more arcade one.. maybe changing car features in the workshop that allows me to choose a realistic or arcade driving.. would be interesting, at least in Story Mode
A setting would be nice. Being able to switch between arcade & simulation driving would be perfect. Even things like getting gas, just like how in RDR2 your horse has health & energy, should be an option in the game. It would thrive being able to choose between modes
What I really want is real tire physics. Want to go offroad? Take all-surface or offroad tires. Want to show off your car's performance on the road? Get performance tires. Want to go fast on the racetrack? Get slick tires. Using the wrong tires at the wrong place or time will be very bad for you.
You lose grip on the bike while turning because you're accelerating into the turn, and well... bikes don't have body roll. Not only does the momentum get pushed outside of the turn, but the literal force does too, and you don't have another outer set of wheels to roll that weight (force) onto when the inner ones lose traction... so you slide a little bit. The sliding technically happens in cars too, but it's just less noticeable (especially because most have differentials)
I think 4 had the perfect mix when it comes to driving physics. I like each car to have a different feel and something that takes skill to actually learn. Once you learn the gta 4 physics it's more fun than gta 5 could ever be. All the cars in 5 feel exactly the same. I would very much like it if 6 had very similar physics to 4. I've tried this mod in the past and I think it's too far on the simulation side but I doubt rockstar would go that far with gta 6 that just wouldn't be fun.
I mean they could add options for singleplayer either have gta 5 style damage and driving physics and have a choice for more realistic one same for online races so you could jave the more realistic driving for normal races and then the older physics for stunt type races
In my mod menu there is a complete engine suspension editor, then you can set every little thing exactly how you want it, e.g. GTA 4 suspension, or extremely bouncy realistic, high low, slow or fast, I can no longer play without this functions.
They need to strike a perfect middle ground in GTA 6. The cars shouldn’t handle like a kid playing with Hot Wheels, but they shouldn’t spin out and immediately be smashed beyond repair after the first or second collision with the smallest bit of acceleration. That kinda craziness that makes GTA “GTA” is gonna get lost
more realism to driving would be amazing, not too sure about the damage physics though im quite okay with them being the way they are, i guess they could turn it up slightly and people wouldnt be so mad but its become a core part of gta
I think they should take a page from Hanger 13 with the Mafia games (3 and the 1 remake) and let us choose if we want realistic driving or more arcade style driving. Maybe just cut the middle man out with mods and have it where we can adjust how certain types of vehicles handle….maybe I want the bike physics to handle more like arcade. But I want cars and trucks to be more real. Idk just a spitball idea
GTA trailers usually run a scripted scene but some will include player input. There’s a good chance any clip of Jason driving is in fact player input with a fixed camera tracking the player
I would be very mad if they just improve 5's physics, with all the realistic details around you just have to make reasonable handling to fit the rest of the game
I feel like gta6 should have two modes where the serveres u join are the same as the other but the difference is that one will have gta 5 physics and other the most realistic physics as possible so we still can enjoy stunts but if we want to play with people and every thing around to be as realistic as possible
Rockstar just needs to bring back GTA IV car and specially bike physics, keep flying through the windshield at super high speeds and ofc features like fuel and seatbelt for online. No bs like spy cars or flying bikes that shoot rockets.
definitely more realistic speed for the higher end sport cars/ bikes and super cars. + the suspension more dialled down than this mod but more than standard gta online. I would love to see a T20 (MCLAREN) reach 200mph with realism
Even if GTA6 will have 99% realism. I think they would add something to make stunts better) At least in Online. For example an ability to increase downforce.
honestly the only physics in GTA 6 I want back is the bike wheelie physics from GTA San Andreas I loved being able to wheelie from San Andreas to San Fierro and being able to earn money the longer I did a wheelie for. it was such a fun thing to do to kill time and to get ur driving skill up while driving from 1 mission to the next. they kinda added it with dlc motorcycle Maibastu Manchez bc it would keep the bike up just fine without it straight dropping like every other bike but if u knew how to wheelie u could easily go on the highway and do a wheelie around the map multiple times without without dropping the front wheel and could easily be able to go around corners like it was nothing. but thats all I want in GTA 6
I love the idea of more realistic physics, but they have to address the speed issue first, when your top speed is the equivalent of 120kmh and your car loses grip like it's going 300, that's not fun and makes no sense, there's no reason why your car should spin out when taking a somewhat sharp turn at the equivalent of 30kmh. When you take that into consideration, gta5 actually has the more realistic physics, the game just lies about the speed you're going.
Idk about 'makes no sense', you should try some realistic sims like AC or PC2 and try taking turns at 120kmh, I guarantee you'll spin out a lot if you don't know what you're doing. Even going 30kmh, there's plenty of reasons that could make you spin out. IRL there are a lot of factors affecting the car such as weight transfer loading the tires and affecting grip, changing the center of gravity of the car, etc. which games like GTA simply can't emulate. Now I'm not saying GTA VI should have sim levels of realistic handling, that would be terrible, but a little bit more realism than GTA V would be nice
@@IDyn4m1CI I've played my fair share of AC, but the thing is in gta 5 120kmh is roughly the top speed of the fastest cars in the game, but game will tell you you're going 300+, which is a lie. I played with mods that boost cars to roughly emulate real car performance, and the handling felt decently realistic, sure there was too much downforce and you could still steer like crazy even at 500kmh, but at least it felt better than playing gta 4 and constantly losing grip at snail speeds. Since they're both unrealistic to some extent, I'd rather take the fun fast one rather than the frustrating slow one.
@@BxPanda7 That's wrong though, the top speed of most cars in GTA is around 120mph, not 120kmh. Some of the fastest cars can go up to 160mph (DLC vehicles). Yeah that is not realistic but its deliberate a gameplay design, because if the cars were as fast as their real life counterparts, the map would feel very small. If you drive shitboxes with street tires in AC (like most of the cars that you'll find on the streets in GTA IV), you'll quickly find out losing grip at snail speeds is not entirely unrealistic. Frustrating, sure, but I don't mind it. What I don't like about GTA IV is that even sports cars have this absurd body roll when turning, and low grip at slow speeds just like the big SUVs, which is stupid. GTA V is the complete opposite, almost all vehicles are very nimble, have very minimal to *negative* body roll, and have absurd amounts of grip everywhere. I wouldn't mind the compromise of having most normal cars being shit at handling and slow (as you would expect), and sports and super cars being fast and nimble
the one thing i would want with the driving physics in GTA VI is more realistic crash physics. not like what's in this video, but more like a more advanced version of GTA IV crash physics, or more of a muted version of something like beamng crash physics.
The game is called grand theft auto, but grand theft auto is no longer a viable strategy... just a relic of a bygone time. You used to grab any old car you saw just to get away from cops. Now, you just call a supercar with armor or a flying bike or a tank from your garage. You used to flip your vehicle and it would explode. Driving used to require skill and was rewarding. I'm all in favor of a realistic driving and damage model to bring back the core gameplay mechanic and namesake of the franchise: Grand Theft Auto. Chases are only fun if there's risk in messing up. Crashes should have consequences to keep you moving from car to car. I get that the kiddies want their indestructible supercar which handles like a toy, but just tell them no. What are they going to do, not buy GTA6? Sure, put the supercars in the game, make them fast and grippy, but make them crumple. Put the big bulletproof SUVs in the game, but make them handle like boats. When my car blows up and I'm scanning a parking lot for a new ride as the cops are closing in, make me think about which one I should take for the situation, don't just make them all different shades of the same pedestrian car. When you're good at driving in GTAIV, it feels rewarding, just like in real life. If you mess up, the results have consequences and you improve next time. When you're good at driving in GTAV, that's just to be expected, and isn't rewarding. If you mess up, just flip the car over and keep going. People are concerned with the racing/stunting communities, but more realism will just add more reward to them. Nobody takes the GTA racing community seriously, but I'll occasionally watch sim racers on TH-cam. The harder stunts are to pull off, the more interest there is. When everyone knows the driving is hard, but someone pulled off something crazy, everyone wants to see it. Who cares if someone did a cool trick in GTAV? There's so many glitches and exploits and unrealistic mechanics to use that it lost its appeal years ago.
From both the trailer and the leaks it looks like it's literally just V driving ported over. I was kind of hoping for a mix between V and IV. An inbetween. IV felt like driving in slowmotion and on bald tyres, while V felt a little too grippy and nimble when driving vehicles that shouldn't be (like SUVs and trucks).
I think semi realistic driving would be really good for GTA 6. Not as realistic as GTA 4, but not too arcadey like GTA 5. That way more people would be happy since they are taking the best of both driving physics.
Forget driving physics, can they finally fix the skyscraper mirror effect? I know you have graphics mods but even the the Gen9 update the tower window reflections are horrible
So, my expectations: Rockstar is gonna dumb down the driving physics further from GTA 5 (as they did from 4) but GTA 4's realistic physics worked better with their smaller, more crowded streets compared to GTA 5's incredibly wide roads and almost no traffic. But yeah, Rockstar will likely just copy-paste everything from GTA 5 and make it a bit less fun. My hope: They do something in between. Give some more realism while still retaining some of the arcade-y feel. Give things some weight, but obviously don't make them as durable as soggy paper.
Personally I don’t see Rockstar bringing major changes into the driving physics as there’s a high chance it could affect negatively on the whole racing/stunting side of the game.
It effectively stabilizes the bike by increasing the width cross section of the front tire by turning it
Realistic crash physics won’t piss player off it’ll make players happy and appreciate the realism
You might enjoy it in the beginning, but lets say its online and your going a couple hundred kmph and then some random player or npc (often npcs) smashes into your car, now you have to call mors mutual insurance for the 7th time this hour
@@YapaneseS gta4 had online, no one complained
i really like the bodyroll that this mod adds to the vehicles and i like that cars can actually slide and drift realistically however it also looks like it breaks some things, like you mentioned with sports bikes not being able to turn without losing traction which would not be the case irl
If the gta 6 driving physics end up being like DriveV i would shed tears of joy
2:52 I dont think the bump jumps will leave in gta 6, they've been in rockstar games and missions forever. Its kind of an important thing. They wont get rid of it
Honestly, it dont thank physics is Rockstars main focus, they obviously want it realistic, but they know that the arcade feel of the driving is necessary for there core audience. There main focus is definitely the story an graphics.
personally, i think there should be varying degrees of physics; like an ultra-realistic sim damage and physics mode, and a more arcadey fun-time mode for stunts.

dude this is crazy i used to watch your stunt videos as a kid and i was watching this to get an idea of what mods i should implement in my boys custom online maps. small world love your stuff Haz
I think it should be simple, give the oportunity to the player to decide if he wants arcade or simulation physics, other games did this before.
LOL the reflections on the buildings look like they trippin' harrrd.
holy shit it looks so ass 💀
I really hope GTA 6 has more realistic physics. DriveV actually looks really good, besides maybe too much damage to cars when crashing and limiting Stunting a bit too much. If they would actually just use DriveV and make some small adjustments like less crash damage and better bike stunt physics, then that would already be significantly better than GTA V.
YES ERIK GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK IN MY FEED 🙏🏽
GTA 4 driving physics were best, bad for stunters maybe. But subjectively i will want gta 4 physics.

Yeah pc isn’t even announced yet, but PS5 will do just fine
I love it when you do these type of videos
Lets just pray that the ai NPCs don't just randomly crash into you 😭🙏🏿
Over curbs, sign posts, small trees, running over people, there should be minimal damage. Head on collisions with cars, walls, rocks and big trees should wreck it completly.
(Having a more realistic style would be in nature, an increase to the skill curve, especially for races, punishing dirty drivers or benifiting smart ones.)
Have fuel.(something to do extra)
Steering and Driveshaft damage.(Upgradable resistance via workshop)
In the event of a catrastophic wreck, where the cabin is damaged, results in player death.
And option at the workshop for choosing between manual, and auto tranny.😊
Small thing: the first gen Sabre had 1 tail light on a side, second gen had 2 and the third gen has 3
2:35 ngl when ever I see this red bike I always think of u and it being the main stunt bike 😂🔥
GTA V SUVs and Trucks feel like they are racecars, whereas GTA IV Sports and Supercars feel like they break their shock absorbers lmao.
I would love having more realistic cars if they are unupgraded, and having OP cars like we have now on GTA V once upgraded
I've seen in some newer games, they'll have the normal driving, and the simulation driving. I think it would be cool if they implemented this.
Essas habilidades! merece um prêmio, sério! 🏆 Quem mais ficou impressionado? Deixa o like aqui! 💯
I think that the solution like in Mafia 2 is optimal, just let players choose the physics in settings.
In my mod menu there is a complete engine suspension editor, then you can set every little thing exactly how you want it, e.g. GTA 4 suspension, or extremely bouncy realistic, high low, slow or fast, I can no longer play without this functions.
i know it ain’t going to happen, but i always wanted an option to use blinkers
Rockstar should just add the option for which driving setting you want. Same freedom Ubisoft offers in lot of their games.
I love playing hyper realistic racing games so im hopeful for wheel support and maybe VR
I prefer gta 6 with cod gun physics and assetto corsa car physics
Same
GTA trailers usually run a scripted scene but some will include player input. There’s a good chance any clip of Jason driving is in fact player input with a fixed camera tracking the player
Doubt it will happen, but I'd love to see it be a setting where you can choose on a slider how realistic you want to go with things.
I hope GTA VI has a mix of in between of GTA IV and V driving physics and crash Physics
DriveV would make perfect for the GTARP communities
I love the idea of more realistic physics, but they have to address the speed issue first, when your top speed is the equivalent of 120kmh and your car loses grip like it's going 300, that's not fun and makes no sense, there's no reason why your car should spin out when taking a somewhat sharp turn at the equivalent of 30kmh.
When you take that into consideration, gta5 actually has the more realistic physics, the game just lies about the speed you're going.
Tbf this is a mod. If this mod were taken by rockstar and tweaked into their official physics, it’d be miles better
It would be nice if it was rendered in real time and not an instant model change, mimicking that of BeamNG
I’d love to see GTA 4 handling but with realistic top speeds, mafia 2 fuel system, beam ng crash deformation
"GTA 6 lurking around the corner" - delayed for 2026 incoming
the game would be good if they had AAA racing game physics
From both the trailer and the leaks it looks like it's literally just V driving ported over. I was kind of hoping for a mix between V and IV. An inbetween. IV felt like driving in slowmotion and on bald tyres, while V felt a little too grippy and nimble when driving vehicles that shouldn't be (like SUVs and trucks).
Think i would love just to see the character driving inside de vehicle, like stepping on the gas and changing gears, maybe changing the radio.
I hope that the classic muscle cars will feel more floaty in gta 6
I think semi realistic driving would be really good for GTA 6. Not as realistic as GTA 4, but not too arcadey like GTA 5. That way more people would be happy since they are taking the best of both driving physics.
i don't even think IV was all that realistic, it was just stylized in a heavy and slow way
For GTA6, Cruise control in cars, & Autopilot for planes would be huge.
Holy shit I haven’t watched you since like 2015
I would love more realistic driving. Would love to see Forza Horizon 5 handling in GTA6
Imagine them adding a "hazardous" toggle to get rid of poles 🤣🤣
Yes pls
They could use the same approach as Mafia, for the campaign a simulation and arcade option, for the online a middle ground... or different servers.
Forget driving physics, can they finally fix the skyscraper mirror effect? I know you have graphics mods but even the the Gen9 update the tower window reflections are horrible
I loved the xbox360 gtaV car damage physics, I was so sad when they changed it for first person
what do you think about rockstar adding battle eye anti cheat to gta pc?
Good but long overdue lol
Hopefully gta put more effort into making each car different
Give us GTA 4s driving physics with GTA 5s in-air control in GTA 6 and we are golden 🗿
They did transform all the rear wheel only cars into 4wd cars when you apply the drift tunning upgrade in online.
total realism or I'm puting my head in a microwave!
