Love this interview so much, such smart and insightful questions at such an amazing moment in his career. Also, how much coke was he on in this interview lmao the man is absolutely geeking 😂

Wow, hahaha, that Burt stuff at the end was delicious. And also what a dingbat Tom Cruise is, I hate that performance, lol. But the Burt stuff....I will spend the rest of my life soaking up any "Boogie Nights" story I can, especially anything to do with Burt. To his credit: you can't see ANY of that on screen, he is INCREDIBLE in "Boogie Nights".

PS: ALWAYS great questions, always coming from an unexpected, fun angle. What you glean out of these people in just five or ten minutes is almost a magic trick, every time I click on one of these. You ask him about dogs.....and he says "One particular dog was the Burt Reynolds of the shoot."......and you pounce right on that!!!! You are a one-in-twenty interviewer, usually this stuff is so run of the mill on these press junkets. Thanks for posting this!

P.S.S. Oh my gosh, could you upload any of the stuff you did when "Boogie Nights" was released?! You say at the end that you had already talked to him "last time", but it's not on your site! In fact, I think this is the only "Boogie Nights" material up here other than maybe a Burt interview. Would love to see any of that stuff, any of the cast, etc. Wow!

@@matthewschwartz6607 Yes. Good movie. Not as great as Boogie Nights, but a good first movie. I like it better than "Bottle Rocket" (I can't help comparing the two Andersons!).
