@@robinbennett1686 It's the Hero of Tsushima armor, based on Lord Adachi's armor. It's an inferior version of the Samurai clan armor, only having small boosts to health and damage resistance without the resolve on being hit.
@vintcek Bro it's synched enough. If you understand Japan a little, you can tell that the dub is not 100% translated from English, it has been adapted to Japan culture of language. So it's a must to play in Japan dub
Took about four tries for me Finally I realized I had unlocked the ability to parry the blue attacks and it made everything so much easier. Also the boss arena is absolutely beautiful
I thought I was doing so good, then I got to this fight. It took 2 ragey hours of screaming at the tv for him to finally die, the learning curve with bosses is inSANE
I was on kurosawa mode until this point, after 25 deaths I changed for the colored screen so I could see if the attack was unblockable or not lol, it was a real struggle
I'm playing my first walkthrough on this game, I always play on hardest modes so I decided to start in hard mode, last night I got into this battle and damn dude! it was hard as fuck since I don't have many upgrades yet, I spent like 1 hour trying to beat him, cause just one hit and I was dying. Finally I did it, I could dodge all of his attacks and counter
I fought this boss on hard mode with level 2 gear thinking I'll breeze through it like everyone else. Dead wrong lol. 3 to 4 hits I was dead. Eventually I beat him by countering the crap out of him. Perfect parry then counter is his biggest weakness.
Just get those Heavenly strikes in to stop him from doing anything unlockable, and make sure you have the ability to block his jab. The heavenly strike works wonders when they sheath to do that 3 unlockable strike. Or when he puts his blade down to strike the water up at you which.....the water hurts you 😒 Do it immediately, and land the hit. They won't even try it, and go back to regular hits. Than just parry/rock him over and over. Nullify his unlockables, and get that W on lethal.
The way I made it so much easier was to always be moving away from him so you had more distance and time to see the perfect counter opportunities. Can kill him in 50 second. The reason some people naturally find this boss easier is because they probably already have this playstyle on lock
I did this without heavenly strike & no parry..while staying on hard mode.. what a joke my life became. I had to switch my attacks constantly. Taking advantage of the dual stone stab attack. Often moving/ countering with many random attacks. (Jump kick, jump square, and all other basic attacks too) very hard with out parry working on top of this.
Its depends on your spacing and choice of moves. Try doing jump attacks. It resets his attack pattern. Also try using heavily strike a lot to break out of his unblockable loop
@@Rubhen925 it doesn't work, he spamms his attacks and when i can't do any special moves, he spamms his unblockable two hit attack when he sheathes sword. And the second attack of it has some ridiculous range. Maybe they changed this fight a little with new patch or something. Or maybe I'm not that patient :D

Stone works well with him as he uses a single sword. You can try using others as well. It all depends on dodging his unblockales. Perfect parries do the most damage
@@Rubhen925 Okay. I was using stone. After about 35+ tries, I finally beat him. That was a f****** relief. I came close to winning so many times and the he finished me off. I'm glad that's over.
What is going on, maybe I spent too much time in the first area and got the things I needed or I got the parry down but I did this in my second or third try. Was it that hard??
@@Rubhen925 a tad bit though, the difference between failing once or twice and failing 30 times is too huge. Plus it's a big deal for me cause I generally suck at video games

He's pretty easy unless he does that ridiculous combo attack or spin to win. They come out of nowhere

This was the first boss on Hard that took me more than 20 mins. I just had to learn the patterns and counter correctly. I raged a bit here too :)
I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes the parrying button doesn't work for shit so you're forced to dodge certain moves.
Yeah been like that for me to since their update. A lot of things got way more glitchy and broken.

Yea I don't like backing off. It sets my rhythm back. I'm usually up in the enemies face and parrying

Well after about an hour and a half of dying and bouncing ideas from this thread I eventually destroyed him in 2 mins. Felt so good!!!

Trust me there are certain games that click for people easier than others. Sekiro was way easier for me compared to my friends. So yea
