2 years late watching this. I do pray Ristorante Ca' Mea has come alive again or will soon. Thank you for these videos. You guys are now a daily staple and both my hubby and I find ourselves smiling and laughing with every view. This vlog however really struck the heart.
Just sat and watched your video with my family…we were in Italy about 17 years ago when I was only about 6 years old and we stumbled across this restaurant. We had a very similar menu, laughed hysterically over the chamber pots as they were the same back then! Devastated to see the rivers done damage. I hope to return one day!
Wonderful video!!!! Harrowing tunnel experience. Mushroom restaurant was terrific! So sorry to see the damage from the storm on the area. Love from Vermont
Great trip... and I loved the footage of the accident waiting to happen... That mushroom pasta and deep fried mushrooms look particularly fabulous! Oh my god, that really brings home the destruction we just take it in whilst watching this on the news!
oh wow! how lovely to see you with Mr George! Summer of '86 saw me haunting Menton, Ventimiglia, San Remo and Bordegera so this was thrilling to watch. Also brave of you to cycle them italian roads. id have thrown up with those drops. great video, keep em coming x
Ca'Mea is my favorite restaurant in the Argentina Valley. Up to 2019 I went twice a year but never once did I manage the whole menu. But I always finished with the Tiramasu. I hope to go again this year, 2022, but it may be my last trip due to my age and the rising cost of car hire which has doubled during the Covid epidemic.
I've been catching up on some of your early episodes Tim, and this was a gem. it looks like a great journey for those who love to cycle. Fortunate you were able to capture Ristorante Ca' Mea before the tragic flood as wel. I don't see mention or reviews after your visit, so I wonder if it's passed into history now or re-opened in some fashion?
Except for the tragic ending which I was sorry to see, your videos are the best. If I were you I'd get a rear view mirror for your bike and that crazy guy behind you. No sense suing. LOL It seems as usual you produce an interesting, fabulous, mouth watering video. I have to show my husband because his favorite food is mushrooms. How did you eat all the food? It looked yummy. Your jokes leave something to be desired! J/k thank you for showing us a good time minus your accident.
Hi, I’m from badalucco, and I loved this, here’s just a few facts. The son of the owner of camea owns the bar pradio in the village Also, sadly, the owner of Camea has passed away. And as you may already know, the bridge by camea has been completely destroyed. All the best

Thanks so much for the update. Very sad about the bridge. Any idea when it might be rebuilt and when they might reopen?
@@MeandMonAmi I’m not quite sure if I’m being honest, I think that maybe by this summer we could se Camea back in business
