Maize Harvest 2024 - John Deere 8500i and New Holland, Case IH, Deutz Fahr & John Deere

Taken during the week while a lot of maize harvesting was on with farms rying to beat the weather. Contractor Houghton Farming with their John Deere 8500i forager chopping maize with a mix of tractors carting. Carting is done with their Deutz Fahr Agrotron 7250TTV, hired Fendt 828 Vario, HK Agri with a John Deere 6210R and farms New Holland T7.210 and Case IH Vestrum 130. With thanks to all involved. For arable flinty soil it was reasonable crop. They had better crops than this but never made it for those. But end of the day it's the size of the cobs that what matters which were of good size.
