  • After his arbitrary detention, Anoosheh Ashoori spent nearly half a decade in Iran's notorious Evin prison - until he was released, along with Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, in March 2022.

Now the British-Iranian businessman has put together an exhibition that he hopes will convey some of the physical and emotional hardships his unjust incarceration caused both him and his loved ones.

What a remarkable man, this brought tears to my eyes. He has made something beautiful out of a great injustice, of prolonged pain. There's no bitterness, just looking at the positives. Thoroughly enjoyed and wished it was longer.

Sad thing for anybody to be imprisoned for political reasons.
Irrespective of who and irrespective of by whom.
Unfortunately the who and whom are relevant in today's world. Thats why some people arent feeling the right way to news like this.
Universal law applies to all irrespective of other factors.

Iinteresting take. Do you have a reliable comparison, say, of in-custody death rates?
