Actually, your M.2 SATA board is based on an ASMedia ASM1166 - the last digit indicates 6 SATA ports. The ASM1064 supports 4 SATA ports and uses 1 PCIe lane (the 1166 can use up to 2 PCIe lanes). From my research, both use the same firmware, so I'm guessing AIDA64 misidentified the chipset. I have cards with both, but the 1064 one is more interesting: it has a horizontally-mounted SFF-8087 mini-SAS conector, requiring an SFF-8087-to-4xSATA forward breakout cable. A horizontal mini-SAS is very compact compared to vertically-mounted SATA connectors, which comes in handy when you have limited clearance above the M.2 slot.

I was wondering if you've ever seen/heard of these chips before, and are they overclockable? P. S. I saw one of those on sale on some obscure website for around $400-700 USD but it could be a sham
I am aware of these unique Xeons, seen them on eBay for astronomical price, so far there is no clear info about overclocking. Could be locked, could be unlocked.

This I don't know and would certainly not recommend. The PSU requirements are there for a reason. If you want safe and reliable setup - get a decent 19V PSU.

@@ADB-zf5zr I used a Prusa MK4 to print, the MASS case is printed in several modules/levels, you can inspect the print files from the MODCASE MASS Free Edition to see what it consists of.

Yes, the Unlimited Power settings (PL4 in BIOS) makes a big difference during long heavy processing tasks, as long as you use active cooling. In addition, contrary to what the INTEL naming suggests, the N97 provides additional "oomph" compared to the N100.

@@Miyconstmy other options were N100 mini itx NAS boards from Topton. The only thing missing from the H4 is a USB C port. And I was looking at the Raxda X4 but it doesn’t have a SATA hat. And then I was LattePanda Mu but I didn’t quite understand it and couldn’t find a SaTA setup for it. Will the H4 fit in a Jonsbo N2 Case? I was trying to find a cheaper NAS case with good ventilation but it was the cheapest I could find. Do you know of a cheaper NAS case?
@@jameshastings6538 I would not bother with any of the Chinese offers, stability and security is the most important factor for me. With non-x86 options I would not bother either since TrueNAS and Unraid don't support it.

@@RaymondKIMATHI and you have installed all the NUC drivers, Windows updates, and Intel Network drivers? You can open the properties of the unrecognized device, then go to Hardware IDs, copy that value and search in Google, it will hint to what driver is missing.

The height is 36mm to the top of the heatsink and 42mm to the top spot of the audio connectors at the rear I/O. I have no clue why you would want a PC behind your keyboard, but maybe you meant behind the a monitor?
@@Miyconst Thank you, and nope - under a keyboard. Wireless low profile keyboards have a slim battery, replacing that means all your connectors are around the sides. Like a laptop. The CHUWI Minibook X N100, for example.

Yes, ATX PSU is a good option if you don't bother with an extra power button and don't care about those extra watts consumed.

Have you tried cwwk m.2 expansion board? Those can extend m.2 to 4 slots.
That adapter requires PCI-E x4 to 4 * x1 bifurcation. Intel N100 does not support that without additional switches as far as I know.
